Stable Cottage is a cosy converted 200 year old stone barn, one of three cottages nestling in tranquil countryside on Penbeili Mawr farm. The secluded 87 acre farm encompasses 30 acres of broadleaf woodland, providing a peaceful haven, pleasant walks and the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including the majestic Red Kite, and is within 20 minutes of the stunning Ceredigion Heritage Coast. The cottage is a perfect location from which to explore the beautiful countryside and stunning coastline of Ceredigion and nearby Pembrokeshire.
Penbeili Mawr is just 5 miles from the bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn, with its ancient castle and abundance of cafes and pubs. Within easy reach are the stunning coves and beaches of Llangrannog, New Quay, Tresaith, Penbryn and Aberporth where you may see seals and dolphins.
Local attractions include the Steam Railway at Henllan (3 miles), the National Woollen Mill at Drefach Felindre (4 miles) and fishing and canoeing on the River Teifi. A little further afield are the picturesque Cenarth Falls, the seaside towns of New Quay and Aberaeron and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran.
Stable Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 king size and 1 twin. All the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility.
