In the heart of the Preseli Hills in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Skomer Cottage is a spacious cottage for two set in 4 acres of natural grounds and fabulous gardens with fantastic views over Rosebush Reservoir and the Preseli Hills.

Ideal for walkers, you can hike for miles through the unspoilt scenery of the Preseli Hills with their moorland slopes and far reaching views over the surrounding countryside to the coast at Newport. If you fancy a more level walk, there is a 6 mile path round Llys y Fran reservoir. Or give your feet a rest and try trekking through the Preselis on horseback.

The famous traditional pub Tafarn Sinc, serving real ale and good food, is just 4 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot if you are feeling energetic and would like to ‘soak-up’ the local atmosphere! Centrally located, Skomer Cottage is ideally placed for exploring Pembrokeshire: Newport, Fishguard and Cardigan are within 20 minutes and Tenby and St Davids within 45 minutes. The glorious Pembrokeshire Coast with its spectacular path and lovely beaches is within easy reach – Newport Sands is a 15 minute drive, Broad Haven is 35 minutes.

UPSTAIRS
Bedroom: a very spacious room with a king size bed, sofa and flat screen TV with Freesat channels.

DOWNSTAIRS
Dual aspect open plan living/dining/kitchen area and French windows opening out onto the patio and gardens
Living area: leather sofa, coffee table, Freesat Smart TV ready to stream your favourite services
Kitchen area: ceramic hob cooker, microwave and fridge. Dining table and 2 chairs. You have use of a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

OUTSIDE
There are gravel paths and streams which meander through the extensive gardens, offering wonderful views over the reservoir. You are welcome to use the picnic benches and walk in the woods. There is vehicular access for loading and unloading and there are plenty of spaces for everyone in the on site car park about 30 metres away from Skomer Cottage. The site is fenced but cannot be considered dog proof!
