Rose Cottage is a light and spacious Victorian cottage situated in a quiet residential area, in the historic town of Tenby, just 1 street from the beach. The cottage is very near Tenby’s quaint narrow streets with its local shops, pubs and restaurants. Also we are within walking distance of all the outdoor activities Tenby has to offer and is an ideal base for exploring Pembrokeshire.
Other attractions include the coastal path, Caldey Island, castles, Folly Farm, Heatherton, Oakwood, golf, riding, fishing, flying, coasteering, surfing, gardens, and National Heritage sites such as the Stackpole Estate with the beautiful Barafundle Bay, Picton Castle, Bosherston Lily ponds, St David’s Cathedral and the wonderful scenery inland. While close to Saundersfoot, Manorbier, and Haverfordwest, further afield are other interesting places to visit including Cardigan, Fishguard, the Preseli Hills, Aberystwyth and Carmarthen.
Rose Cottage is beautifully placed to access beach and town and surrounding areas easily but enjoys a quiet aspect for that special getaway.
Rose Cottage sleeps up to 6 in 3 bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a super king size bed and TV. There is also a twin room with wash basin and smaller room with bunk beds and wash basin. A toilet is located on the landing close to each bedroom. The family bathroom is on the ground floor with bath/shower over, wash basin and toilet.
Centrally heated, the property combines period features such as Welsh slate dining room floor, with a modern kitchen and range cooker that is in keeping with the style of the cottage.
The lounge has a TV, Docking Station and DVD player. The dining room has a dining table to seat six and the kitchen has a gas range cooker, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave.
There is a separate utility room with washing machine and fridge/freezer.
There is a small enclosed courtyard off the kitchen and dining room with sufficient space for hanging out washing. It is not suitable for an outdoor seating area. There is a car park some 30 yards away, within sight of the cottage.
