“We had an amazing stay at Rhyd Y Brown, a lovely cottage in a great secluded location.Feedback - Oct 2021
From the outset the owners were very friendly and welcoming in all correspondence and nothing was too much trouble and the welcome gifts on arrival were lovely.
The property is a lovely cottage with alot of period features, yet it is also well equipped with everything we needed for our young family. We particularly liked the location tucked away from the outside world surrounded by trees. It is also well placed for days out with plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Thank you very much, we had a great week here!”
“Rhyd y Brown is a lovely traditional Welsh Farm house that has all the original charm of Welsh cottages of bygone days. It is well equipped for a family stay and is centrally located for exploring the fantastic Pembrokeshire coast and countryside. I enjoyed coming back after a day exploring to a warm abode a game of pool and a good film chosen from the extensive collection of DVDs. I would definitely stay here again.”Feedback - Oct 2021
“Idyllic, Remote, like a trip into the past with all the happy memories that go with it but with mod cons added. To us it was delightful, just delightful.”Feedback - Oct 2021
“Rhyd y Brown farmhouse cottage was just perfect after the last 18 months of COVID worry. Set in a beautiful quiet location, hardly any traffic noise, just the birdsong and the babbling stream. It was just a lovely place to be, to relax and get away from it all. Good location for visiting the beaches of Tenby, Saundersfoot, etc., but also great for exploring Preseli Hills.Feedback - Oct 2021
The cottage itself was quaint and well equipped, everything you could ask for really and just gave you that warm lovely feel that made you feel at home. The owner thought of everything to make us feel welcome leaving chocolates for us and treats for our rescue dog Rory who had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave when it was time to go home. Just perfect in every way!”

Both house and garden are excellent for sitting out in, garden furniture provided, and plenty of space for dogs to play
, plenty of space to park two vehicles.
Inside the house is spacious and comfortably laid out, kitchen dining area convenient , lounge very comfortable, good sized TV, and bonus is Games room with pool table, 3 good sized bedrooms, bathroom with shower.
In summary, it is the best Holiday let we have had so far in Pembrokeshire over the last 10 years!!”
“Staying at Rhyd y Brown Farmhouse was a delight. It’s in a quiet, peaceful location surrounded by beautiful woodland and birdsong. The garden is also tranquil and extensive. The house is cosy, attractive and comfortable. It’s a great place to unwind or a central base from which to explore Pembrokeshire.”Feedback - Sep 2021
“This house is a gem set among beautiful gardens and countryside. It did exactly what we needed and was just a lovely place to be. We really hope to be able to come back.”Feedback - Aug 2021
“Really quirky old house in a lovely rural location. Almost no traffic and a beautiful garden full of birds, lovely trees and a stream. It came alive at night with bats and tawny owls which were a joy to watch. The large fridge freezer was much appreciated as you are a fair distance from any local shops. Watch out for the low inglenook beam in the kitchen if you are tall! For rainy days there is there largest collection of DVDs I have ever seen and a nice pool table. I didn’t risk a ride on the little rocking horse. Lovely place to really get away from it all.”Feedback - Jun 2021
“An excellent cottage overall and the owner went considerably in excess of what might be expected in travelling a distance to the property early during our stay to correct an error (a key not left) and bring some extra facilities that they had just purchased. Very good customer service, thank you.”Feedback - Jun 2021
“This cottage is set in the most beautiful location. It provided the total peace and quiet we were looking for. It is well situated for exploring the surrounding area or, if preferred, the immediate garden and grounds are perfect for just sitting back and relaxing. It is definitely on our "hope to return someday" list.”Feedback - May 2021

“Gloriously remote & peaceful. Time to de-stress? Come here. Plenty for the children to explore & learn about nature.”Feedback - Aug 2020
“We have stayed at many cottages in West Wales but this was easily one of the best. We had two young children and also my ninety year old nan With us and Rhyd y brown was appropriate for both. Cleanliness of the house was amazing an all the little touches didn’t go unnoticed. It was remote in the sense it was serine and peaceful but also easily accessible to the town of Haverfordwest. We’ll definitely be booking again!”Evans, July 2020
“Absolutely beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Really peaceful with no noise and no light pollution. The night sky with the stars was astounding. All this, and yet not too far to get to a town or beach. The owner was very accommodating and we would definitely love to stay here again.”Feedback - Aug 2019
