Ty Bara (meaning Bread House in Welsh) is situated opposite the old bakery in the beautiful town of Aberaeron. Enjoy this wonderful Georgian town and all its delights from this comfortable holiday home. (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom)

Special Offers

Ty Bara is a bespoke Victorian cottage – sympathetically renovated to enhance many original features, creating a cosy seaside feel on the edge of Aberaeron. Located adjacent to the site of the old Aberaeron bakery, Ty Bara provides a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of this wonderful seaside town.

A short stroll will take you to many delightful shops and restaurants, the harbour, beaches and access to the Ceredigion Coastal Path. After a day’s exploration, relax in front of the log burner or enjoy the sunset from the garden patio. Embrace a soak in the bespoke bathroom complete with the ship’s porthole, or sit and read a book overlooking the garden on the “Crows Nest” landing.

The master bedroom features an Art Nouveau ornamental fireplace and original wooden floor, whilst the second, smaller double bedroom also allows sea views. A further wooden staircase leads up to the bathroom and landing at the rear of the property. A double sofa bed in the lounge downstairs can provide additional sleeping if required.

If you fancy a break from the many restaurants and takeaways nearby, why not have a cosy meal chez Ty Bara beside the ornamental fireplace. You could even bake your own bread!
