Shoals Hook House, a spacious 18C property, set in beautiful landscaped grounds at the end of a private country lane, surrounded by farmland. Come and stay in a much-loved part of the owner’s home. Just a 10 minute walk from the hamlet of Prendergast you will find a traditional award winning butchers, a good Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop, a florist, two hairdressers, launderette and a reliable garage.

A further 10-minute walk will take you into the market town of Haverfordwest, where there are several good restaurants/cafés, pubs, and an old charm 1913 cinema, as well as supermarkets, and a retail park.

Haverfordwest is in the centre and county town of Pembrokeshire, making it an ideal base to explore beautiful Pembrokeshire. It has great transport links including a main railway station and bus depot for National Express and local buses.

In the summer months, ‘The Puffin Hopper’ provides easy access to the beautiful 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the only coastal National Park in the UK.

There are numerous cycle routes and kayaking and windsurfing at the nearby beaches. Visitors can instantly relax and unwind after a day exploring this beautiful part of West Wales at this charming, characterful and large holiday accommodation, sitting by the cosy inglenook fireplace on chilly nights, or BBQing in the private garden listening to the many woodland birds.

Shoals Hook House sleeps 2 adults in 1 king-size bedroom. All the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility. Please note that the bedroom and toilet are not next to one another.

There is a private utility room for your use with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and airer, separate to the property. Guests also have use of an extra fridge/freezer. Private enclosed garden with bistro table and chairs, and BBQ. Large parking area for several cars. Access to owner’s gardens, and with permission, guests are welcome to pick herbs and vegetables when in season.
