Seaborne House is a 200-year-old sea captain’s cottage set in the heart of the popular seaside town of Newport, Pembrokeshire.

A warm and cosy sitting room with a log-burning stove is perfect for warming up after a long day at sea, at the beach, walking or exploring Carningli or the Gwaun valley. The large open-plan kitchen is a great place for entertaining and cooking, with bi-fold doors that open out onto the sunny patio (great for barbecues and alfresco dining) and fully enclosed garden.

Newport has plenty of facilities within walking distance with a selection of independent restaurants, pubs, cafés, shops, galleries and the Norman Castle. Traeth Mawr, the long, sandy Newport beach is only a short drive away and Parrog, the old harbour is just a short walk from the village. Nearby there are many opportunities for activities such as golf, tennis, sailing and fishing.

Seaborne is an ideal location for walkers due to the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the stunning Preseli Hills being close by. Alternatively, why not explore the wider area and visit Cwm yr Eglwys cove, Castell Henllys Iron Age Village or the Welsh Wildlife Centre?

Kitchen: Rangemaster gas 6 burner hob, double electric oven, large Fisher Peykal fridge-freezer, Miele dishwasher, Nutri-bullet blender and Magimix, Gaggenau microwave and coffee machine, Nespresso pod coffee machine, larder, Sonos Alexa-enabled speaker
Dining room: dining table seating 10 plus highchair (on request) leading to patio
Utility: Miele washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, extra sink, fire blanket, first aid kit and overhead hanging rack
Wet room: overhead shower, hand-held shower spray (great for wet dogs and small sandy kids), WC, hand basin, heated hanging spaces for wet-suits and beachwear. Access directly from patio and with the utility room right next door, it’s perfect for a beach clean up.

OUTSIDE
Patio with gas barbecue, Fermob table, chairs and bench for 10 and a rattan-style seating area. Outdoor rotary clothes line. Log store. Bike rack. Garden tap/hose. Wide slate steps lead up to the terraced south-facing garden and hot tub. There is a football table and garden games such as swing-ball tennis for guests’ use.
