Save on your next stay at Romany Wagon and Cwtch!
Explore offers below and book your next holiday to West Wales.
Romany Wagon & Cwtch are set in perfect peace and quiet rural seclusion, yet this original Romany Wagon is also only a few minutes’ drive from the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay, in Ceredigion.
You don’t have to rough it whilst enjoying the benefits of glamping; a cosy cabin offers a lounge, kitchen-diner and shower room with a ‘treetop’ veranda. This oasis of chill is privately set in your own whole acre of wild meadow with woods and a riverside campfire to enjoy. The flora/fauna is protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of resident otters. Perfect for holistic retreaters, honeymooners, twitchers, paradise and nature lovers. Salve your soul, sitting by the river watching the dancing campfire while dinner cooks on the BBQ.
You will find plenty to explore and enjoy when you venture out of this hidden haven. Visit Llangrannog with its two sandy beaches, cafés and pubs, the long sandy beach at Penbryn or Tresaith, where the local pub has fantastic views over Cardigan Bay. Dolphin spotting boat trips run from New Quay Harbour (12 miles).
The historic town of Cardigan (25mins) has supermarkets, restaurants, a theatre/cinema and a restored castle. Further, explore the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire or the Cambrian Mountains in Ceredigion.
ACCOMMODATION

THE WAGON
Double bed with heating from beneath. A dog bed is available on request, which fits snuggly under the wagon’s bed
THE CABIN – up a few external steps, a short distance from the wagon
Bathroom: shower, flushing toilet, heated towel rails
Living room: 2-seater sofa, log burner, double doors look out to the veranda and beyond to riverside and country vista- there is no TV so this is a real escape from everyday life

OUTSIDE
A farm gate opens into your own private, no-sharing acre of wild meadow, woods, river and more. Beside the river, there is various seating, and an alternative sheltered Fire Den with seating in inclement weather. The outside area is bounded by the river, a stream and hedgerows, so it is not entirely fenced in. If you are considering bringing your dog, note that a neighbouring field frequently has dairy cows. Off-road driveway parking for 1 car.
Visitors should be able-bodied and steady-footed due to the steps between the wagon and cabin, and the wild path through the meadow. It is not hotel-style, but an adventurous and unique place to stay.
