Naturesbase Shepherd’s Hut is ideal for those looking for a memorable experience in a fantastic location. Well-equipped to suit your family’s needs, you can be sure of a relaxing night’s sleep in the double bunk bed and if you want to feel extra cosy, pop on the wood-burning stove. A few steps away, you’ll find a large undercover seating area with a picnic table, which is perfect for enjoying a spot of outdoor dining. Be surrounded by nature as you cook your meals in the bespoke spacious alfresco kitchen. The fire pit is an excellent spot to relax in the evening as you admire the stunning dark skies, tell stories, and chat about your day with a glass of wine or a hot chocolate.
Naturesbase is home to an array of experiences for all, explore the hill fort, watch the children enjoy the trim trail and games field, build dens in the woodland, pet the sheep or play in the streams. If you’d prefer a more organised activity, the owners offer family bushcraft sessions and the chance to unwind with a spot of reflexology.
In an excellent location, situated between the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay, there are plenty of beautiful places to visit so you can have a busy but unforgettable holiday. The colourful Georgian town of Aberaeron is less than six miles away, with its harbour and an array of excellent places to eat. Slightly further away, you’ll find New Quay, the midpoint of the Wales Coast Path with three sandy beaches, a stone pier, and a wide range of watersports and boat trips.
ACCOMMODATION
The Shepherd’s Hut sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children in double bunk beds
Shepherd’s hut: double bed or double bunk bed, sitting area and wood burner
Kitchen: open-sided yet undercover with 2 gas burner hob, fridge, toaster and charging point for phones.
Dining area: table and 4 chairs in the hut or a beautiful alfresco yet protected from the elements dining hut adjacent.
Bathroom: Shower and compost toilet
OUTSIDE
Located in its own secluded grass area with fire pit surrounded by meadow grass and trees. There is a larger shared area nearby for ball games, walks and children’s trim trail around the smallholding, a hill fort to play on, woodland for camp, building, and a stream to dam. During the 6-week summer holidays there are a few tents in their own secluded areas in the field. Parking 50 M from the hut
