This Newcastle Emlyn holiday let is the perfect place to enjoy fishing on the famous River Teifi which flows for a mile through the delightful grounds of Dolhaidd Isaf estate. Keen fishermen can enjoy fishing for up to two rods by prior arrangement and the chance to catch Brown trout, Sea trout and Salmon in season.
Kingfisher Cottage offers comfortable accommodation close to the river and the patio is the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco-style dinner with a riverside view.
Places to stay in Newcastle Emlyn have a selection of shops, galleries, cafes and bars to choose from in this traditional market town. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the historic castle ruins, perched on a hill overlooking the river, and enjoy wonderful riverside walks. Just a quick drive from the cottage, you’ll find one of the area’s top attractions: the National Wool Museum in Drefach Felindre.
Keen walkers have easy access to the Coast Paths of Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire with fantastic scenery, wildlife, and beautiful beaches such as Aberporth and Tresaith only a short drive away.
