Gwynfryn is a character-filled Victorian Cottage in an idyllic setting overlooking the picturesque harbour at New Quay on Cardigan Bay. You can watch the dolphins as you breakfast on the terrace, or stroll to the sandy beaches, shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways of this picturesque fishing village. With everything on your doorstep, you can leave your car and just enjoy the laid back unhurried pace of life that is West Wales.

The stunning Coastal Path passes through New Quay: head south for Cwmtydu and Llangrannog or north to Cei Bach and Aberaeron. Enjoy spectacular unspoilt scenery, stunning sunsets and sandy beaches whichever way you turn and whichever season you visit in.

Aberaeron, with its lovely harbour surrounded by colourful Georgian houses, is just a few miles away and its award-winning shops and restaurants make it well worth a trip.

The local area is renowned for its excellent quality local food, fresh fish, great beer and warm friendly welcome. Buy fresh fish at the end of the pier, stock up in the nearby farm shop or visit the local produce market (seasonal). You can even have a hamper of local goodies delivered to your cottage for your arrival. Perhaps try one of the award-winning eateries in the area. The choice is yours!

The layout of Gwynfryn makes it ideal as a romantic hideaway or a comfortable family retreat by the beach. It is packed with original features yet extremely well-equipped for a comfortable break overlooking this truly stunning coastline.

Shower room: large shower cubicle with electric shower, wash basin and toilet

FIRST FLOOR 
Bedroom 2: single bed 
Living room: 3-seater leather sofa, 2-seater sofa, armchair, log fire, sea views, Smart TV and lots of books and games
Kitchen/dining area: ceramic top stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, dining table and 6 chairs

DOWNSTAIRS 
Bedroom 1: king size bed, original fireplace (not in use), stunning original features
Bathroom: roll top slipper bath, separate power shower, wash basin, toilet, log fire

OUTSIDE
The kitchen leads directly out to the very large terrace overlooking Cardigan Bay. The terrace has a quality dining table and chairs, loungers and a BBQ. Buy mackerel from the fishermen at the end of the pier and BBQ them as you sip something chilled and watch the dolphins in the harbour; truly magical! There is no parking at Gwynfryn. There is a public Carpark just 3 minutes away. A weekly ticket costs approx. £10. Parking is free Nov to Feb.
