Bwthyn Traeth Newydd cottage is a charming property with beautiful views out over Tresaith beach and Cardigan Bay from the decking. It has a fantastic, light and airy open-plan living space, perfect for relaxing together after a day exploring the best of West Wales. Cosy beside the wood burner or take a breath outside in the garden.
Tresaith is a small coastal village which overlooks a small sandy bay. Bwthyn Traeth Newydd is a short walk to the beach, which is home to a stunning waterfall, the only waterfall in Wales that lands on a beach. Tresaith beach is very popular with families looking to relax and explore the waterfall and rock pools. After a day at the beach, wander to The Ship Inn, the perfect spot for a bite to eat and soak up the view of Cardigan Bay.
The Ceredigion coast path also runs through Tresaith, with miles of stunning coastline, spectacular cliffs, fantastic wildlife, and pretty seaside villages to explore.
The neighbouring seaside village of Aberporth is a small distance away and is easily accessible from the coast path. Enjoy a day exploring Aberporth’s two stunning beaches, perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and building those all-important sandcastles.
A short drive from the cottage you will find yourself at New Quay which is famous for its bottlenose dolphins which can be spotted most days. The local Cardi bus can pick you up in the village and stop at all the coastal villages up towards Aberystwyth.
