“Primrose Cottage” Pembroke Dock is a one-bedroom cottage offering a convenient base located just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops for those arriving by train the station is close by and easily accessible. The South Pembrokeshire golf club is located above the docklands with breath-taking views over the river Cleddau.

Also within walking distance are two local pubs. ‘The Station’, as its name suggests, is part of Pembroke Dock railway station and was previously the waiting room. It serves food, real ales and has weekly live music. ‘The Shipwright Inn’ on Front Street overlooks the historic Martello Gun Tower and has a reputation for good quality food and beer with a friendly local welcome.

The town of Pembroke Dock was established in 1814 with the start of the Royal Navy Dockyard. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be followed from the cottage crossing the Cleddau Bridge travelling around the waterfront on Front Street before heading uphill on the way to Pembroke town.

Pembroke Dock is connected by several bus services linking to Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Tenby. A ferry service operates from Pembroke Dock to Rosslare in southern Ireland. The ferry runs twice a day in the early afternoon and the early hours of the morning.
