This snug, picturesque stone cottage is attached to the owners’ home on the shores of a tidal pond which is fed by the Cleddau estuary. This adult only cottage is surrounded by 2 acres of unfenced grounds, which you are welcome to explore. These comprise a mixture of lawns, woodland, wetland and marsh, ideal for bird watching, or just relaxing by the water.

Canoes and boats can be launched from the small inlet at Landshipping Quay, (subject to tidal conditions), at the bottom of the unmade track, (approx 200 metres distance) and there is a further slipway at Landshipping, less than a mile away.

There are lovely riverside walks from the cottage, as well as a variety of sitting out areas in the pretty garden and a fire pit for barbecues or bonfires. Inside, the property has a cosy open plan living area and the open crog-loft reading area above, all heated by a wood burning stove.

Pond Cottage sleeps 2 in 1 double bedroom. Some of the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility.
