You can walk to the friendly Pen y Bryn Arms which serves good pub grub and a short stroll through the fields takes you to Cilgerran. This village has a spectacular castle and river gorge, a shop, a cafe, a post office, a garage and a welcoming pub with a local vibe.
The vibrant market town of Cardigan, the centre point of the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Coastal Paths, is just 2 miles away. This historical market town on the banks of the river Teifi has a thriving contemporary culture of arts, festivals and events, an indoor market, specialist shops, restaurants and pubs. Cardigan Castle has benefitted from an £11 million restoration, its grounds, house and restaurant are worth a visit.
Popular attractions nearby include the 40-acre Welsh Wildlife Centre, dolphin spotting in boat trips around Cardigan Bay and fishing at Cwm Gors Fishing Lake. Further afield, St Davids, Tenby and Folly Farm are within an hour’s drive.
