Pant-y-Celyn is a cosy ground floor studio apartment, semi-detached from the owner’s bungalow. The property is situated in the peaceful rural village of Llwyncelyn, with a 20 minute walk from a small shingle beach at Gilfach-yr-Halen, which leads onto the Cardigan Bay Coastal Path walk.
The Moody Cow restaurant, pub, farm shop and Soft play is situated within walking distance across the peaceful countryside. A perfect visit for those cold cosy nights by the fire or for a Summers evening sat out looking over the lake. There is a village store and petrol station within walking distance for groceries/newspapers/post office.
Just 2 miles away is the picturesque Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, with unique shops and many good restaurants providing the finest foods from locally sourced ingredients. Here you will find that festivals and various events are held throughout the summer, such as a seafood festival, a cider and beer festival, a festival celebrating Welsh ponies and cobs, a mackerel festival, a carnival and more. In the winter, Aberaeron is more peaceful but all pubs and restaurants remain open.
Inland, you can explore the lush Aeron valley and visit the National Trust mansion at Llanerchaeron, an elegant Georgian villa set in the wooded Aeron Valley. Remarkably, unchanged for over 200 years, this self-sufficient estate includes a farm, walled gardens and a beautiful lake full of wildlife. Enjoy a coffee and a cake here before taking a leisurely stroll back alongside the old railway path through the beautiful woodland to the Gerogian town of Aberaeron.
