“Really comfy and smart cottage in beautiful, quiet setting to renew the spirit with birdsong, flowers, stars and all of nature's glories. Many thanks to the owners for all their thoughtfulness.”Feedback - Jun 2021

“The field next to the property was a God send no matter what size your dog there's plenty of space for them to run around, a real asset to this property.Feedback - Apr 2021
Some really great walks locally and a little further afield.”
“The cottage looked far better than in the photographs! It was large and comfortable, with just about everything one could need. It was well-equipped, and the Welsh cakes were much appreciated. It was well-positioned for visits to the coast (Aberaeron, Aberystwyth, New Quay, et cetera), but we particularly enjoyed walking around the woodlands in Talley (it's a great view from the top). The best feature of the cottage, at least for us, had to be the bird life. We saw a blackcap, coal tits, a great spotted woodpecker, a jay, a nuthatch, and a pair of siskins. Even the bird food was provided!”Feedback - Apr 2021
“This was a beautiful property, everything was as described, very comfortable and to have fresh flowers and Welsh cakes and a wee jug of milk to welcome us, it was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit this property! 💕”Feedback - Apr 2021
“The perfect place for our three night get away. Everything we needed was there. All very clean and comfortable with clear instructions . Lovely Welsh cakes on arrival too ! Thank you.”Feedback - Apr 2021
“Nice, peaceful location set in lovely grounds, ideal for our 4 legged companion. Good sized open plan living area, well stocked kitchen and nice outside decked area to watch the sun go down.Feedback - Apr 2021
Handy location with approx 15m drive to coastal resort of Aberearon and 20m to Newquay.”
“My wife and I were looking forward to a relaxing break and Pandy cottage did not disappoint. When we arrived Lindsay showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The Welsh cakes were a lovely touch. Immediately we could feel all the stress of the last year drifting away. It was so comfortable we had a wonderful time. We would love to return for a longer period. No hesitation in recommending Pandy cottage.”Feedback - Mar 2021
“Had a lovely stay if your looking for a place to get away from it all quiet and relaxing. it's a bit of a drive to the coastal towns but worth it would highly recommend”Feedback - Oct 2020
“Beautiful cottage, with full amenities. Perfect location for exploring a lovely part of Wales.Feedback - Sep 2020
I would definitely recommend Pandy Cottage.”
“My husband and I really enjoyed our week at Pandy Cottage, it was one of the peaceful places we have ever stayed in. It was well designed and very comfortable, we were particularly pleased with it's little terrace area that looked over the owners beautiful garden. We would often sit there with a glass of wine or sometimes to eat our meal. It is ideal for dog owners as there is a wonderful meadow that our dog could freely run in.”Feedback - Aug 2020
“Lovely chilled out week at Pandy Cottage. Loved the decked enclosed area although the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy it as much as we would like. A comfortable, quirky, dog friendly cottage, with the bonus of the use of an enclosed meadow for letting your four legged friend have a run about. Also loved the placement of the bird feeders which mean you can sit indoors and watch a variety of birds visiting, which is fascinating.Feedback - Aug 2020
Due to COVID restrictions, we didn’t get to meet the hosts in person but all communications were friendly and efficient. Much appreciated the welcome of fresh flowers and cheese and crackers.”
“We'd all but written off a holiday this year and then late in the day decided to find a cosy little retreat in Wales where the 3 of us (5 with the dogs) could hide away and relax for the week in each others company. We chose the perfect place for the whole crew. Gorgeous beaches for dog walks (as well as the meadow behind the cottage), great places to visit nearby or eat our at or just a perfect morning taking our time over breakfast on the porch. The cottage is really easy to make yourself at home in. Had a lovely week although in hindsight we shook have booked or two!”Feedback - Aug 2020
“A totally Enid Blyton holiday , outside the cottage the birds swoop down for their bird food.Feedback - Jul 2020
We say nuthatches, all manner of tits, and stunning woodpeckers feeding.
Coast with hidden beaches within three quarters of an hour.
Good local supermarket, in Lampeter.
Fun, laid back holiday we will be back
“Pandy Cottage is this stunning little cabin/cottage in rural Wales. My wife and I love this place as it’s a retreat from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life and a chance to really unwind in the locale. The cabin itself is gorgeous, exceptionally well-maintained and clean! There’s a lovely deck to sit on and enjoy a coffee or beverage on in the morning and evening and roaming ground in a paddock next door. Honestly, it’s just what every city dweller needs for a week. Hosts are wonderful people, you may even get a visit (or two) from the resident cat who took a shining interest in us when we stayed. We’ve been to Pandy twice, we’ll probably turn up again when looking for our own slice of fried gold that is South Wales that’s’ for sure. Solid 10 out of 10 here.”July 2020
“Pandy Cottage is a well equipped and presented gem in a beautiful part of the country. We had some rather yummy homemade cake waiting for us and coffee making facilities which was very much appreciated. Quite a quirky open plan layout which works well. Very dog friendly with the added bonus of a large meadow which our dog loved and just wanted to go and sniff and jump about in. Great to watch the bird life in the garden and thrilled to have great spotted woodpecker come and tap on the cottage window which was lovely to see up close, although the dog didn’t think much of it. The weather for us was not great, but we didn’t let it spoil our time away. Thank you.”Feedback - Jun 2019
“Great comfortable cottage, plenty to do & see nearby, will be back for sure!”Feedback - May 2019

“Just come back from a midweek break .lovely cottage .Very spacious and well equipped.Comfy bed and despite the weather outside we were very warm and cosy inside .Our cockerpoo loved the field to have a run in in the morning and was made welcome with his own treats provided for him on his arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay .”Feedback - Mar 2019
“We had a very relaxing 3 night stay at Pandy Cottage, which was clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. It was just right for us and our two dogs.Feedback - Jan 2019
The garden looked great although we didn't make use of it due to the weather at this time of the year. The use of the large meadow was handy for letting the dogs stretch their legs.
The location was quiet and peaceful which was ideal - allowing us to forget about the hustle and bustle of our usual hectic daily lives in Milton Keynes.
All the amenities we needed were on-hand and we had no problems with WiFi but we were advised that mobile reception might be patchy. We actually found it was ok outside and suspect the poor signal inside had something to do with the metal roof.
The owners (next door) were very helpful and always on hand for any needs, but they left you alone and kept a very low profile so it always felt like your own little secluded part of Wales.
Would definitely recommend Pandy Cottage and will keep it on our favorites list should we want to visit this part of Wales again in the future.
Mike & Lynda”
“A beautiful little cottage extremely well equipped and lovingly furnished which made us feel at home rather than renting a mere holiday home. Nice touches included watching garden birds on the feeders from bed in the morning. The blue tits also tapped on the windows, whether for food or not I'm not sure, but it thrilled us, as did the rain thrumming on the tin roof.Feedback - Oct 2018
We are more used to Pembrokeshire but this area of Wales did not disappoint. It is purely itself, unchanged in a way that is unusual in the UK, we met Welsh speakers in the pubs and shops, experienced a quiet and friendly welcome, and found beautiful walking inland and decent beaches on the coast.”
“We were made very welcome, and had an excellent stay. The cottage was as advertised and had everything we wished. The use of the 5 acre field for our dog was a real bonus. Looking forward to going back for another holiday.”Feedback - Jul 2018
“We loved our week in Pandy Cottage. So quiet, except the occasional cows or sheep being heard from the neighbouring field..Everything we needed in the Cottage and a nice welcome from Lindsay when we arrived, with Welsh cheese and biscuits too. Some lovely places to see fairly nearby. Dogs seemed to be welcome in a lot of local places and beaches, which was great. We were blessed with lovely weather which obviously helped but even if we hadn’t, the Cottage was still great. We would love to go back at some point and highly recommend.”Feedback - Jul 2018
“The cottage was lovely, perfect for a couple with dogs. So quiet and picturesque, great for a weeks getaway. The location was lovely so quite, just the sheep and cows in the background. Close to beaches, along deserted lanes.”Feedback - Jun 2018
“Such a wonderful place to stay, everything was perfect, even the weather. The cottage is lovely and the owners very welcoming. They are there if you need them but do not intrude. The most relaxing holiday. would absolutely recommend if you want to get away from a busy life for a few days. Lots of beautiful places nearby to visit especially New Quay, and everywhere was dog friendly.”Feedback - May 2018
“Absolutely delightful! Such a cozy cottage. Really enjoyed our stay and the dogs loved it too. It felt home from home, with everything that’s needed. The fenced in area was fab, as our dogs would of ended up in the pond. It was lovely to sit out on an evening (we were pretty lucky with the weather). The welcome we received started our stay off nicely. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.”Feedback - May 2018
