Access statement for Pandy Cottage
If you have any queries please contact the owner
On booking owners will send an email with more detailed location information and how to find us, key instructions, parking etc. Check in from 3pm day of arrival until 10am day of departure. We will be here whenever possible to welcome you in person.
Mobile phone reception is poor in the cottage, but it is equipped with wi-fi. As wi-fi is shared, please do not use for downloading. We are hoping the line will be improved shortly.
Grocery deliveries available.
Unloading is on the private tarmac driveway outside Pandy Cottage entrance and also ok for parking or use the parking area to side of cottage. All on level ground.
Guests need to take care turning off the lane through the gateway to the cottage as it is a little steep. Once you have arrived at the cottage there is room to turn round in the area after the tarmac ends, which is grassed and has stone underneath.
Entrance directly into entrance lobby, with 1 step down to hallway, with kitchen and bathroom off, and 1 step down to lounge/bedroom area.
Spacious area around bed. Room for cot bedroom end of lounge.
TV with remote.
Cordless kettle in kitchen.
Garden not enclosed securely but the patio area is child and dog safe and has seating with table.
Small pond in garden.
There is a 5 acre wild flower meadow accessed through a field gate which guests and pets are welcome to use. We ask you use your own judgement if you need to keep your dogs on leads, as there may be sheep in neighboring fields.
We have one remaining chicken who likes to free range. We are very happy to keep her in her large run whilst guests stay with dogs. If this is not necessary just let us know.
Bins for rubbish are located by the black corrugated barn you pass just before your cottage. We are keen on recycling here and bins will be marked. There is a green wheelie bin for general rubbish. We ask guests to wash glass bottles and jars before placing them in the separate glass bin, as glass is not collected and we take it to the local recycling centre.
The cottage is well insulated and warms up quickly, to help us protect the environment. We have solar PV panels which produce electricity.
