Morawel is a former sea captain’s house which stands very close to the seafront in Aberporth, a large friendly village in Ceredigion, just 15 minutes north of Cardigan.

Aberporth boasts 2 beaches, shops, and plenty of places to enjoy a drink or meal. Just a 10-minute drive away is the historic town of Cardigan with its restored award-winning castle, a good range of shops, a cinema, pubs and eateries, including a riverside pizzeria with genuine wood-burning ovens, live music and a fantastic atmosphere.

Morawel is ideally located to access the many attractions Ceredigion has to offer, such as historic castles, heritage sites and museums. Walk the coast path and discover quaint villages, harbours and beautiful bays. The views are stunning, and you may even spot seals and bottlenose dolphins.

On a Tuesday morning, it is well worth travelling a few miles down the coast to visit St Dogmaels and its delightful outdoor market next to the ancient abbey. Of course, we must not forget our lovely safe guarded sandy beaches at Aberporth, Tresaith, Mwnt, and Poppit (on the Teifi estuary).
