Mill Cottage

Introduction
Mill Cottage is a stone cottage, part of Felin Carrog a 19th century former corn mill, providing guest accommodation on a ‘Self Catering’ basis. The nature of the building dictates some accessibility constraints and the following statement will provide more details. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further details.
Pre-Arrival

• We are in a rural location and the use of a car is strongly recommended
• The nearest train station is at Aberystwyth approximately 7 miles distant
• Taxis can be found at the station but require booking for outward journeys from Mill Cottage
• Due to the nature of the building we advise that guests with mobility or visual impairments are accompanied during their stay

Arrival & car parking

• There is a house name sign at the entrance to the drive, and on the wooden gate of Mill Cottage
• The parking area is located at the front of the property
• To reach the cottage from the parking area there is a step up into the courtyard garden and two further steps into the house
• There is a sensor light by the front door for night 

Main entrance

• There are two doors into the cottage 74cm wide
• Audible smoke detectors are located in the cottage
• Complimentary internet access is available in the cottage 

Living accommodation

• There is a corner sofa and Freesat television
• The dining table can cater for 5 people
• There is a log burner for the winter months
• The floor is quarry tiles
• From this room there is access to the kitchen on the same level and the bedrooms and bathroom via the stairs

Kitchen

• There is an induction hob which should not be used by guests with pacemakers
• The kitchen is fully equipped and has a washer/dryer
• The floor is quarry tiles
• There is a torch provided in the kitchen for emergency use

Laundry

• There is a washer/dryer, ironing board, iron and drying rack in the cottage

Bedrooms

• Rooms have centrally operated ceiling lights and bedside lights
• The floors are wooden
• Mill Room has a door 72cms wide and has Freesat TV, a hairdryer a standard double bed with access from both sides. The room also has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables
• The second double room has a door 72cms wide and has a standard double bed with access from both sides, a hanging rail, a tallboy chest of drawers and a stool
• The single room has a door 66cms wide and has a bedside table, a hanging rail and a tallboy chest of drawers

Bathroom

• There is a lock on the bathroom door
• The bathroom has a door 64cms wide
• The bathroom has a vinyl floor
• The bath has a 59cm high side
• Over the bath there is a power shower with curved shower surrounds
• The toilet has a height of 42cm It should be noted that sanitary items, plastic or rubber items, wet wipes, cotton wool etc must not be disposed of down the toilet

Outside

• Mill Cottage has a courtyard garden with garden furniture
• There is separate enclosed garden area for guests to use and exercise dogs
• A footpath leads from the front of the property into the surrounding countryside
