Maglona is a delightful Grade II listed cottage in a quiet yet central position in Aberaeron, Ceredigion, overlooking the ‘square field’ in this colourful Georgian coastal town. The spacious cottage can comfortably accommodate a large extended family or two families sharing.

After a day filled with activities, unwind in the living room and get cosy in front of the period fireplace. The south-facing conservatory is another great place to relax, with French doors opening up to the enclosed garden and patio, which is perfect for enjoying breakfast and the occasional glass of wine. Maglona is within easy walking distance of the shops, cafes, bar and bistro dining, with the picturesque harbour and beach only a short stroll away. A wide range of walking, cycling and fishing opportunities are available nearby, and the cottage has safe storage for bicycles and other equipment in the utility room.

Aberaeron hosts various events and festivals throughout the year and is an excellent choice for a family holiday. To the north, you’ll find Aberystwyth and the Cambrian Mountains, with many sandy beaches, rocky coves, coastal towns and fishing villages only a short distance to the south, including New Quay, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth.

Public Transport

Buses The following routes stop at Aberaeron. The bus stop is located at the West end of Square Field. Walk a few metres South to the road junction, turn left, past the Newsagents, Black Lion Hotel and Rhosyn Dela Flower Shop and continue up to the next junction, the total distance is around 100 metres, look right and ‘Maglona’ is in front of you.
The owners also own the properties either side of Maglona, Compton and Gelli Aur.
