Maes yr Afon is a charming character cottage tucked in the hillside above St.Dogmaels, overlooking the Teifi Estuary and less than 1.5 miles from Poppit beach and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

St. Dogmaels has a magnificent ruined abbey, a working water mill where you can buy fresh baked bread, a village shop, Post Office, delicatessen, excellent Fish and Chip shop and three pubs, one of which is only 5 minute walk away from the cottage. The village is just a mile from the market town of Cardigan, with its theatre, cinema, pubs, supermarkets and other individual shops.

This cosy and comfortable terraced cottage is ideal for romantic getaways by the stunning coast of Cardigan Bay, perfectly situated for walking and near to the broad expanse of dog-friendly Poppit Sands. With its pretty white stone walls, log burner and traditional box bed, Maes yr Afon makes a lovely winter hideaway, too.
