Mabel's Haven

Pre-arrival

• Mabel’s Haven is situated within a 5 minute walk of Tenby Railway station
• There is also a bus station which is approx. 10 minutes’ walk from the property with a taxi rank by the side
• Details of taxi firms to be provided to make arrangements for collection from train or bus stations
• There is mobile phone reception but it can be weak in certain areas and with certain providers
• There is a Tesco express approx. 10 minutes walk away and the supermarkets in the nearby towns also offer home delivery

Arrival and car parking

• Outside Mabel’s Haven is a pavement and there is a small step in through the gate and a further one step into the front door
• The garage is part of the house and there is a gentle slope to the garage
• There is also access through the garage into the house where there are no steps

Inside

• The front door leads into the hallway (wooden floor with a doormat just inside the front door) and the first door on the left leads into the lounge. Lounge – there are 2 three-seater settees which are pushed back against 2 walls
• There is a TV and DVD player with remote controls on a cupboard in one corner and a bookcase in the other. There is a ceiling light and also 2 small table lamps. The floor is carpeted. Further down the hallway on the left is the dining room
• Dining room – it has a large table which seats 8. It can easily be reduced in size by removing the middle section. There is also a sideboard containing crockery, glasses, cutlery, table mats etc. There is a ceiling light and also a standard lamp in the corner which has a dimmer facility. There is a wooden floor
• At the end of the hallway is the conservatory. Conservatory – this has a set of wicker furniture with a small coffee table. It is a lovely spacious room with a door leading to the rear garden. It has laminate flooring and wall lights.
• Opposite the dining room is the kitchen-diner Kitchen- this is a large room with the table and chairs to the right side – has a high chair. To the left side there are kitchen units which include the fitted cooker & hob, washing machine & dishwasher. There is an under the counter fridge and a microwave. It also has a cordless kettle, toaster and grilling machine. There are numerous spotlights in the ceiling. It has linoleum on the floor.
• Just opposite the lounge is the downstairs toilet with a wash hand basin
• There are no support rails. The stairs are carpeted and lead to the first landing.
• All bedrooms are carpeted.
• To the right there are two rooms – the bathroom and the room containing the bunk beds. Bathroom – very spacious room – it has a wash basin with a mirror above and a shaver point. There is a “P” bath with a shower over – a non-slip mat is provided. There is a heated towel rail. It has linoleum on the floor.
• Twin room – this room has a set of bunk beds with duvets and bed linen provided. There is also a small set of drawers. From the first landing there a 3 more steps to the next landing – the first room on the right is a twin room. It has twin beds with a bedside cabinet between them with a bedside lamp on it. There is also a wardrobe with triple doors – 2 for hanging clothes and the third has a set of shelves. There is also a further set of drawers
• The next bedroom could be described as the master bedroom. It has a double bed, fitted wardrobes down one wall, a further set of drawers and a dressing table and chair. It also has a lovely armchair in the bay window. There is a bedside cabinet each side of the bed and they both have bedside lamps. This room has sufficient space for a cot.
• The final bedroom is another double but is smaller than the previous one. It has a wardrobe and set of drawers the same as in the twin room. There is a bedside cabinet each side of the bed and they both have bedside lamps. It also has a lovely armchair in the bay window.

Outside

• Garden – This is a very small space which is totally enclosed. There is a raised area covered with gravel and accessed by 3 steps
