Lake Cottage is a converted, refurbished, 'eco-friendly' barn in a tranquil location, with a private fishing lake and private hot tub, 10 minutes from the beach. Set on a 7 acre site at the end of a lane – no light pollution and no traffic noise!
Within the 7 acres there are also a house and an adjoining cottage, not visible from Lake Cottage or overlooking it. There are nearby bridleways for access to the hills and woodlands – home of the red kites. Visitors are welcome to explore the land, which includes the River Arth.
Lake Cottage is very conveniently situated for access to a wide range of mid Wales coves and sandy beaches, and the pretty harbour town of Aberaeron, which boasts a high number of excellent restaurants (e.g. the Harbourmaster).
There is a pub at the local village of Cross Inn and local activities include: golf, horse riding, sea and river fishing, dolphin and wildlife trips, scuba diving, and an activity centre (kayaking, assault course, archery).

The cottage sleeps 4 in 2 rooms on the ground floor: 1 king size and 1 twin room. The accommodation is on the ground floor and may be suitable for those with restricted mobility.

Private secure, fenced, private garden, with veranda, hot tub, patio and BBQ overlooking the lake. Free fishing in the lake, stocked with Rudd and Carp (12lb). Children's swings, private access to cottage, ample parking space for 2 cars. Secure bike store shared by all the properties.
Although there is a nearby cottage and house, the other properties each have their own access and private gardens and are not visible from the cottage and cannot be overlooked.
