Ivy Cottage is a lovingly renovated stone cottage located in the popular village of St Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire. A spacious and well-equipped property, it is ideally situated for a mix of coast and country.
The village of St Dogmaels is on the north border of Pembrokeshire, close to the market town of Cardigan. The village has two pubs, a shop, and still has a working flour mill which sells wonderful bread.
You can take a stroll to the Abbey (which is where the stones to build Ivy Cottage were sourced) and enjoy the surroundings or grab a coffee or a bite in the delightful café. Enjoy the local produce market every Tuesday, which has some fantastic local offerings from honey to fresh fish.
Poppit Sands beach is only a 2-minute drive away, which is at the mouth of the Teifi Estuary.
Here you will find the start, or the end, of the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path takes you right around the coast to Amroth in the south.
Cardigan town is also only 1.5 miles away with its array of independent stores, cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. You can visit the famous castle, wander along the river bank, or even take in an art gallery.
There is plenty to see and do from this great location. Sun or rain it has all you need to chill out and recharge
