Hobbit House is an 18th Century quirky, character cottage just a short walk to the Blue Flag sandy beach at Borth, Ceredigion.

The cottage is well placed for access to beaches, hills, and the harbour town of Aberystwyth, with its array of cafes, restaurants, art galleries and shops. You can take the Rheidol Steam Train to the famous Devil Bridge Falls from Aberystwyth or take the train up to the top of the famous Constitution Hill.

Borth beach is the longest beach in Ceredigion with three miles of gently shelving golden sands where you can see dolphins and the famous submerged forest. Borth is popular for both families and nature lovers; well catered for visitors with shops, bars, restaurants, sports activities, a zoo, golf course and a boutique cinema. Borth is excellent for walkers with access to the Ceredigion Coastal Path.

The nearby Dyfi Wildlife Centre is the home of the Dyfi Osprey Project at the Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve. Spend time in the 360 Observatory, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Dyfi Valley. You can see Ospreys, Hen Harriers and Peregrine Falcons amongst various other birds and wildlife, well worth a visit. The nature reserve is in the heart of the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere.
