Hirwaun Cottage is a traditionally styled, semi-detached cottage with a beautiful high green oak beamed ceiling, underfloor heating, and a novel loft bedroom. Built on the foundations of the old dairy at Penwern Fach Farm, it is close to the village of Cenarth, in Carmarthenshire.

The cottage has an “Escape to the Country” feel about it and offers a very high standard of accommodation. The expansive living area combines kitchen, lounge, and dining in an open-plan, family-friendly style that will appeal for a relaxing break away from it all.

Hirwaun Cottage is one of 6 holiday cottages on 10 rolling acres with views extending across the Teifi Valley to the Preseli Hills beyond. Communal gardens, lawns, golf practice fields and a play area add to the pleasure, and the enclosed wildlife pond attracts a wide variety of insects and birdlife, fascinating for young and old.

The quaint little village of Cenarth, famous for its waterfalls and salmon fishing, is close to the borders of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Ceredigion, with easy access to the many attractions of the three counties. The 60-mile-long Ceredigion Coast Path is within easy reach, and walkers will love the spectacular scenery, quaint villages, and beautiful beaches. The historic town of Cardigan is a short drive away and has supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, independent shops, and a restored castle.
