“The Shepherd's Hut might have been one of the most unique stays we've experienced. The scenery was idyllic, the sunrises, sunsets, starry nights, and the fog were all magical. Tom and Sally are wonderful hosts and they've really built such a special place. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months when the farm shop is open and lots of locals said it was their favorite place for a delicious breakfast. And by the fresh laid eggs that were left for us in the hut when we arrived, we can only assume the food will be just as fresh! We can't wait to visit again. Wales is pure magic!”Feedback - Dec 2019
“We had a lovely stay and great weekend! The hut is just perfect! - so cozy and romantic! The barbecues in the garden were much fun. Within 10 min walk we we had fantastic sea views and to the main beach in tenby it’s just 10 min with the car.Feedback - Sep 2019
The farm shop was awesome as well! The furniture was cute and the coffee and breakfast delicious.
The owners were absolutely friendly.
We definitely recommend this hut and would love to come back!”
“A lovely place to stay for a solo traveller. Private, comfortable, and ideally located. The farm shop does wonderful breakfasts, and really nice people. Wonderful soft towels and bedding. Shower is amazingly powerful. Sensible shoes recommended for walking the slope to and from the hut, and for the coastal path walk to lovely Lydstep beach. Surprisingly large amount of available storage on shelving and in cabinets.”Feedback - Jul 2019
“My Son and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Frank! Quite lovely to be awoken by sheep in the morning in time for breakfast which was also delicious. Both mornings we indulged in the Farmshop breakfasts and my Son is still talking about the hot chocolate :0) The position was perfect too - right in the middle of lots of activities and places to go and visit. If we had more time there were many things we would have liked to experience - next time. Thanks for a lovely stay.”Feedback - Apr 2019

“Together with my partner we've had an amazing time! We've received great instructions from Sally few days before our arrival and enjoyed our coastal walk from our location all the way to Tenby! We didn't get lost in the dark even when we arrived in the evening. It is a beautiful and peaceful place! It was great to sit on the steps of the hut with a cuppa and do star gazing! I would come back for sure! Log burner warmed the place up really quick so even in the cold November, we were kept warm and cosy :) We would love to visit again in spring!”Feedback - Nov 2018
“What a find. This quirky shepherds hut is perfect for a few nights away from it all!! We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked to go back in New Year's Eve for a few nights, can't wait”Feedback - Oct 2018
“Thank you for our wonderful stay in your gorgeously cosy shepherd’s hut. Everything for an enjoyable weekend is provided, including champagne flutes and a bottle opener! Loved the fact it was self contained with its own ensuite shower room (fantastic shower!) It’s in a beautiful location where you feel isolated but are conveniently close to Tenby and many places of interest. We welcomed the visit from the cows each evening and the fresh eggs generously given to us Sunday morning were delicious! We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather to enjoy a leisurely walk into Tenby for a few bevvies in the sunshine! Can’t wait to return!”Feedback - Sep 2018
“Great place to stay and relax, owners were lovely and eager to make our stay the best it could be. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully go back ourselves one day.”Feedback - May 2018

“We stayed here with our dog and loved the hut. Its location is superb and the peace and quiet was very soothing. We were plagued by bad weather but we were happy to snuggle down in front of the fire and enjoy some reading. The shower was excellent and the bed comfy. We had everything we needed! Will definitely be back for another stay in this unique and memorable accommodation.”Feedback - Feb 2018

“Sally and Tom have made a wonderful unique holiday home. It was very peaceful, and the location excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to help.Feedback - Jun 2017
The variety of products in the farm shop, allowed us to get groceries from them, reducing our carbon foot print. We loved the cows and the pigs. One of the best holidays we have had.

“Frankshore Shepherd Hut was everything and more set in a peaceful location with nothing but the birds singing. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need and the log burner was great at night and made it even more cosy and if you want to sit out at night there's the fire pit which we used so you can enjoy the stars in lovely warmth. There are many beaches to visit some of which we were the only people there some great walks lots of great places to eat in Tenby not to mention the fish and chips in the harbour at Saundersfoot which were great! Thank you for sharing you lovely quiet piece of the country we will be back again. Rachel Mike and Wally (The Chocolate Lab)”Feedback - Apr 2017

“We absolutely loved staying here! The shepherds hut is great, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. As someone who feels the cold I was fully prepared to be shivering, but there must be some seriously good insulation in those walls as we stayed cosy all weekend! We received directions and tons of information about local restaurants, etc, from Sally and can't fault communication.”Feedback - Nov 2016
“Absolutely brilliant accommodation and location. Loved every minute wish we could stay forever!”Feedback - Sep 2016
“The reason for choosing Frankshore was to have a few days away from everything and enjoy peace and quiet. That is exactly what we experienced. You feel in the middle of nowhere but are only 10mins from the beach, shops, towns, train station so a perfect location.Feedback - Jun 2016
The Shepherd's Hut is lovely and has everything you need, most importantly a bottle opener and bbq. We were desperate to use the log burner but even in the dismal rain of the day we arrived it was warm and cosy and inviting.
Lovely people, lovely area and we will most definitely be back.”
“My partner and I absolutely loved the Shepards hut! It's set in a lovely area with beautiful walks and lots to see and do! Making out own fire inside and out made it cosey and fun. It is the perfect romantic getaway. Defiantly would come again!! Thank you!!”Feedback - Apr 2016
“Couldn't have asked for anything better. It was perfect.”Feedback - Apr 2016
“A fabulous romantic hut-escape! Excellent location for coastal walks and adventures. Down the road from Tenby and a short drive from other great coastal villages! The hut itself is delightful with everything you could need for a couple of days! A very warm and cosy feel. Absolutely loved the log burner and the fire pit outside too! All in all, a perfect getaway!”Feedback - Mar 2016
“We would happily stay again,it was very pleasant and relaxing to live more simply (but not too much!) in a beautiful spot. The farm on which the Shepherd's hut is sited is in an ideal situation for walking the coastal path and near more wonderful places to visit than we could possibly fit in.Feedback - Mar 2016
We must have been visited by the Easter bunny and I do hope Walter found the little toy lamb who needed someone to take care of him.”
“Wonderful few days spent here. The solitude was just what I needed. Tom and Sally were great. Gave me privacy but were there when needed. The log burner was lovely. The shower was better than home. All in all, a great set up.”Feedback - Mar 2016
“Lovely hut in a great location. Direct access onto the Coastal Path which is great for walking both east and west. The shower was deceivingly big but did not compromise on the layout of the hut, and it had plenty of hot water.Feedback - Oct 2015
The owner was very nice and came to make sure we were ok when we arrived. There is a hop garden which goes to the local brewers beer.
I'd recommend the hut for couples looking for a walking holiday, or just a quiet location to get away from it all.”
“We had the most fantastic time the shepherds hut was great we will defantly be coming to stay again tom was such an easy going chap you felt you had known him years so just to say and thank you from Tina Kevin and flash the dog .”Feedback - Aug 2015

“We enjoyed our shepherd's hut experience immensely, lovely location and friendly owners close by if needed, but the hut is situauted far enough to allow privacy to enjoy the suroundings and peace and quiet. Everything needed is contained within a beautifully decorated and compact interior! A lovely break and would definitely recommned.”Feedback - Jul 2015
