This must be the most romantic place to stay in Pembrokeshire! Set in an idyllic, secluded area in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park within walking distance of 2 beaches, this gorgeous Shepherds Hut is a unique glamping escape. Furnished in a delightful antique Welsh style, it is a beautifully finished, hand-crafted Shepherd’s Hut by the sea, with a bathroom and kitchen, and a wood burning stove.
Open the stable door whilst cooking your breakfast and then enjoy the blissfully peaceful rolling landscape while you dine. Our farm is ideally located in the hamlet of Bubbleton just 2 miles from Tenby and 3 miles from Manorbier.
It is connected to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which is perfect for walking to nearby beaches: Lydstep is a 15 minute walk to the West and Penally 20 minutes to the East. Trefloyne and Tenby golf clubs are also within walking distance.
Accommodation
Frankshore Shepherds Hut sleeps 2 in a double bed. It is self-contained, with the main room serving as a bedroom, snug and kitchen. There is a separate bathroom at one end.
Main room: gas cooker, small fridge, instant hot water, Belfast sink, log burner, antique table, chair, double bed, radio and plenty of cushions
Bathroom: gas shower – instant hot water, countertop hand basin and flushing loo
Outside
Set alone in a field, Frankshore Shepherds Hut is extremely secluded, overlooking rolling countryside, fields extend to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and cliffs with stunning island views. A table, two chairs, a barbecue and a fire pit, are set outside within the fenced area surrounding the hut so you can enjoy the fine weather and wildlife.
If it is raining just sit in the hut and open the stable door and large windows and you will feel the beautiful Welsh outdoors. Enjoy the many farm walks and coast path walks. Depending on the time of year, you may have sheep or cattle for neighbours. A dog kennel is available if you would like to use it and can be positioned outside or in a nearby shed if you prefer. Parking is off the road in a safe location, and we normally ask you to park roughly 100 yards from the hut, but for most of the summer it is possible to drive up to the hut and park adjacent to it.
