“Another amazing stay. So glad we’ve booked to come back twice more. Saw Dolphins and found a path and a lovely seat we hadn’t found before. Like home from home in this wonderful cottage, the sea came a long way up the river, covering the stepping stones. All very exciting with the high winds.”

“Amazing relaxing very well appointed. It is like our second home.”

Feedback - Sep 2017

“Our second visit to this lovely home from home. St Dogmaels market (Tues 9-1) is a treat of local produce. The garden centre at Moylegrove (Penrallt) has excellent plants and a good café with outside seating available. Lots of boat trips to choose from at New Quay and the Blue Bell (just opposite the pier) serves good food. Cardigan Castle and garden is interesting but small, however, the 1176 restaurant in the castle serves a cracking afternoon tea. An excellent coffee shop in Cardigan High Street will provide artisan coffee exactly to your taste”

Spotted dolphins in the bay, two bats at night and red kites on the way to Aber. Everyone in Aberporth are very friendly especially Annie across the road who supplied us with Shortbread and Lemon Drizzle during the week and some to take home. A truly fantastic break away. “We came to Estyn Y Mor for our mini-honeymoon before our main trip in the summer and we have absolutely loved it. We made our own dinner and ate on the balcony whilst the sun set last night, helped along by the celebratory bottle of bubbly left by Kevin, Marg and Claire. We wish we didn’t have to leave today – we’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Absolutely magic. So wonderful we have booked another week. Accommodation excellent. Access to beach incredible. Walked the cliff top walk to Tresaith three times. Paddled in the sea. Excellent Ale at the Ship Inn. Made great use of the balcony and views from the house; saw dolphins and porpoise, cormorants and a seal. All the little touches, information, binoculars very helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to our return THANK YOU”

“Probably the best place we have stayed. Had mainly good weather, just very windy mid week but still managed to coastal walk a few times; with everything within easy reach is a great place to unwind. Ann Davies from the cottage opposite very kindly baked us some lemon drizzle cake on Sunday and today (Fri) we had shortbread. All staff in Ship Inn are great”

“We really enjoyed our weeks stay in the beautiful cottage Estyn y mor. Every comfort was catered for , the welcome pack of welsh cakes was just what we needed after our journey. The sea view from the balcony was amazing even when the weather is not so nice, just to sit and look at the sea is so peaceful.
Good coastal walks and the people of Aberporth were so friendly and helpful.
Would go again and will be recommending to our family and friends.

Enjoyed coastal walks from Aberporth to Tresaith (& watching suffers) and particularly enjoyed LLangrannog & Lochtyn peninsula…stunning views for miles. Favourite beach was Mwnt beach – beautiful setting, good facilities … a special place. Visited New Quay & Tenby & had some good meals out at The Ship in Aberporth, New Inn (great Lamb shanks) and managed to track down gluten free fish & chips in Tenby. Saw dolphins once briefly from balcony”

Took the cliff railway at Aberystwyth for spectacular views across the bay. Did riverside walk at Cenarth Falls and coastal path to Tresaith. V & B, June 2016

“Great house with wonderful views! Weather has been better than expected given all the yellow warnings given daily. We were able to use the deck nearly every day & were lucky to catch sight of a pair of dolphins on 2 occasions (sadly only briefly). Enjoyed walk along coastal path to Penbryn (Plwmp Tart serve a lovely lunch), also good walks at wildlife centre just outside Cardigan where they also have café serving varied & delicious food. Lovely walk from Llangrannog to Ynys-lochtyn peninsula & thoroughly recommend homemade ice cream from café patio on return. Mwnt beach area lovely place to take a picnic & dolphin watch. Wonderful views from hill top & we were only ones on beach when a lone seal bobbed up in the sea. Further afield but thoroughly enjoyed the “Gorge Walk” on Hafod Estate – great waterfalls, brick follies & a chain bridge. We did this in the rain & still enjoyed it. Nearby Devils Bridge/Falls also better than expected although there is an entrance fee. It has been a great week & we hope to come back on day”

It's just wonderful to either sit on the deck and watch the world go by or, if it's not warm enough to do that, it's possible to sit in the warmth but with first class views of the beach and the bay. The coastal path is in easy reach and there's a great little pub a stone's throw away. What's not to like?”

We walked Llangranog to New Quay on the coast path - truly spectacular views. We used the Cardi Bach bus service - brilliant. We discovered the Gwaum Valley with 1/2 a pint at Bessies - ah amazing pub. We went to St Dogmaels fortuitously on a Tuesday and found the most amazing produce market - worth a visit 9am - 1pm every Tuesday. The wildlife center has lovely walks and a great Cafe.
