Dyfed is a cosy 200-year-old cottage in Newport, Pembrokeshire that has been completely restored. A real gem of a cottage, it is ideal for couples seeking that perfect getaway all year round. Only 200 metres from the centre of Newport, with its shops, restaurants and pubs.

Dyfed is beside the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, providing miles of magnificent walking with a dedicated bus service for return to Newport from many points. Newport Links golf course is 2 miles away, a truly enjoyable, testing links. Almost every tee and green has fantastic sea and/or mountain views. The yacht club with its launching slips is a short walk away. Visitors’ moorings are available. Information about opportunities for fishing is available from the Tourist Information Centre opposite the cottage.

Bird enthusiasts will be absorbed for hours on the estuary with waders, raptors, ducks, geese, gulls, terns, cormorants, herons, kingfishers with the occasional rarity or two, and the occasional otter.


Dyfed sleeps 2 in 1 twin bedroom. All the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility.
