Dornhurst

Pre-arrival:

• There is a local bus stop at the end of the road, but service is infrequent.
• Nearest Train station is in Carmarthen (approx. 45 mins away)
• Mobile phone reception can be intermittant in the property dependent on where you are standing. No issues outside.
• Broadband Internet
• Grocery deliveries – Online delivery available from Tesco 

Arrival and car parking:

• There is a small slope as you come through the gate and up the drive. Take care as there is a low wall on the right side that can be difficult to see if its dark.
• Main car park is tarmac and flat. At the back of the house is a raised patio, approx. 5 steps with handrail on one side to access the patio. 5 steps with no handrail on the far side. You would need to supervise young children.
• At the front of the house there are 3 steps with handrail to a large decked area. One step down to the patio and grassed area.
• 3 outside lights – 2 at the back, 1 at the front.
• Key safe. 

Inside:

• One large step into front door. 5 steps with single rail to mezzanine lounge. Rest of the house is on one level.
• Bedroom one – Master with kingsize bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables. Tv with Free view box. Carpet. Room for single cot – not provided.
• Bedroom two – Double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, carpet
• Bedroom three – one bunk and one single bed. Bunk only suitable for children age 6 and above. Chest of drawers. Space for single cot – not provided.
• Bathroom one, small step into walk-in shower. No rails. Bathroom cabinet with mirror light, electric point e.g for electric toothbrush.
• Bathroom two, bath. No rails. Bathroom cabinet with mirror light and bathroom cabinet.
• Washing machine.
• Kitchen – cordless kettle, toaster, microwave, double oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher.
• Cupboard with mop, hoover, clothes dryer and pegs.
• Reading room -armchair, bookcase with books, puzzles. Open fireplace -not for use.
• Snug – sofa, love seat. Smart TV with freeview box. DVD player with lots of DVDs. Wood burner -you will need to buy own wood/firelighters. Sliding door to access front decking
• Lounge – large corner sofa, coffee table, double sofa, sliding door out to patio.
• BT Fibre installed. Up to 150Mbps so the Wi-Fi is very reliable 

Outside:

• You will need to supervise young children as the garden is not enclosed and there are some steps at the front and back of the property.
• The back of the house overlooks the countryside and is next to a farmers field. Two horses often graze here and can often come close to the boundary. There are also sometimes cattle in the field. Please do not feed the horses or enter the farmers field as it is private property.
• Seating – At the back patio there is a bench and a table with 4 chairs. 2 deckchairs also available inside the property to take out. At the front there is a large table with seating for 8.
• At the front of the house there is a plinth to put a disposable or small BBQ on.
• The front gate is due to be replaced so please take care if you decide to close it whilst staying at Dornhurst as one post is quite wobbly.
• Shed is for private use.
• Storage is available to keep body boards, beach toys etc.
