The town library houses a tapestry commemorating the Last Invasion of mainland Britain in 1797.

A short drive away are the coves, beaches and stunning coastal scenery of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the beautiful Gwaun Valley and the Preseli hills which provided the famous blue stones for Stonehenge.
It is about half an hour’s drive to the tiny cathedral city of St Davids (30 minutes), the pretty village and harbour at Solva, and Broad Haven and Little Haven on St Brides Bay. Tenby and Saundersfoot are within an hour’s drive.
