Dincoed is a comfortable semi-detached single-storey cottage, one of several in a quiet cul-de-sac in St Dogmaels and above the Teifi estuary. Great for walks from the door, it is less than 1.5 miles from dog-friendly Poppit beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
St Dogmaels’ historic attractions include a magnificent ruined abbey and a working water mill. A village shop, post office, excellent fish and chip shop, and three pubs – one of them only five minutes walk from the cottage – provide all you need on your doorstep. There is also a weekly local produce market and several cafes serving locally sourced cheeses.
The market town of Cardigan is just a mile away, with its theatre, cinema, pubs, supermarkets, and other individual shops. Nearby, why not visit the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, Cilgerran Castle, or Castell Henllys Iron Age Village.
Dincoed sits on the junction of the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Coast paths, with the Poppet Rocket bus service set for pickup and dropoff, and is perfect for exploring the beautiful beaches and coastline of the area. Alternatively, Cardigan Golf Club and several riding stables are nearby, and with local operators Cardigan Bay Active you can try a range of watersports and activities.
