“The farm house had a lovely welcoming feel and we all felt at home within hours of arriving. The gardens and grounds around the house make one feel great and our view from the bedroom was perfect to wake up to. Ours was just a small party so we had plenty of choice for bedrooms and lounges to use. It would be ideal for large family groups.”Feedback - Sep 2020
“It was a real home from home experience, making it a great place for a 3 generation week’s holiday..... lovely unexpected touches of flowers and chocolates on arrival as well as logs for the log burners. Even in August these were a welcome treat. We will most certainly be back. Thank you”Feedback - Aug 2020

Fantastic views and walks over local fields.
Beautiful area, so many stunning beaches locally and friendly locals.”
“This is such a beautiful, homely and comfortable house to stay in. We were at Cryngae for a fortnight with various family members coming and going, but generally with 8 adults and 2 children. We were all very comfortable and the two sitting rooms meant we could usually find some space to ourselves if we needed it! Our hosts were so warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The gardens were perfect for our boys to explore. The laundry facilities were very convenient and efficient. The location was perfect to be able to reach beaches, castles, rivers, walks and anything else we wanted to explore. We very much hope to return next year.”Feedback - Aug 2017
“We stayed for 4 nights in July. The cottage was perfect with plenty of rooms for all of us. The best thing was the huge summerhouse which we loved. Lovely stay just wish it was longer.”Feedback - Jul 2017
“Great house for a large group of 12. Loved the patio area outside the kitchen with large table for everyone to sit around. This enclosed sheltered area also got the sun during the day. Also loved the gardens. Really quiet and peaceful place with beaches and walks within a half hour drive. Would definitely recommend to others!”Feedback - Jul 2017
“Extended family holiday (plus dog). Clean, large home with plenty of room upstairs and down. Very comfortable bed! Log fires lovely after long day out, although house is warm anyway. Everything you might need is available. Owners very helpful and friendly. The grounds are wild and enchanting.”Feedback - Sep 2016
“We had a lovely stay at Cryngae Farmhouse for two weeks in August. A friendly greeting from Kevin and Sharon, with wine, chocolates and flowers to welcome us. The house was beautiful in a quiet location, looking out over fields and hills. The house is huge and well equipped with virtually everything you could need! The super king size bed was declared the comfiest, roomiest bed ever slept on! The highlight of our visit was a dolphin spotting trip from Gwbert....we were blessed with a fabulous display of several Dolphins, seals and even a shy porpoise.....the Cardigan Bay big three! On subsequent days we also enjoyed dolphin watching from the beach at Poppit Sands and New Quay. The National Woolen Museum in the village is well worth a visit, as was the National Trust gold mine. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.”Feedback - Aug 2016
“This is our second time at Cryngae farmhouse, and I suspect it wont be our last.Feedback - Jul 2016
Sharon is a welcoming host, and the flowers, chocolates and bubbly were a lovely touch!!
This property is so peaceful, you cannot hear anything but birdsong, but at the same time the pleasant town of Newcastle Emlyn is only 3 or 4 minutes away by car.
A perfect base for a family holiday”
“Lovely old farmhouse full of character. The children loved running around the spacious garden and the adults sitting by the pool and summerhouse. “We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Cryngae Cottages. The farmhouse was perfect for the whole extended family with a large farmhouse kitchen and two comfortable sitting rooms. We loved the large gardens and spent evenings sitting out by the summerhouse before moving indoors to light a fire in the woodburing stove. The house was very well stocked with everything you could want and Sharon and Kev were perfect hosts. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful part of the country and can't think of anywhere we would rather stay than Cryngae. Thoroughly recommended.”Feedback - Aug 2015

“Really enjoyed having two living rooms as we could spread out being 10 of us and 2 dogs. Granddaughters loved the gardens and it was lovely to have room for them to play safely. The rooms were large and clean. The dishwasher went on the blink but we all mucked in with the old fashioned washing up. Would recommend the property for family gatherings.”Feedback - Jul 2013
