Cryddion is a charming stone-built cottage for 2, full of character and history. It is located in the picturesque coastal village of Llansteffan with a less than 5-minute walk to the village centre with its local store and 2 pubs.
The cottage has a varied history and was the local Cobbler’s home (Cryddion in Welsh) for many years and also a wool shop. It has been refurbished to retain its original features but also incorporates modern comforts.
This unspoilt village on the Towy estuary has a castle, stunning coastal and estuary walks and views, beautiful beaches, wildlife – it’s a real paradise for those seeking peace and tranquillity. Ancient woodland at Green Castle Woods is carpeted with bluebells and wild garlic in spring and is definitely a treat.
The historic county town of Carmarthen offers an array of amenities including a good selection of shops, cafés and restaurants using local produce. A traditional indoor market, cinema, bowling alley, museum, leisure centre including swimming pool and shops and galleries selling local arts and crafts.
The cottage is within an hour of the Gower peninsula and the Brecon Beacons National Park to the east and an hour to the vast beaches and beauty spots of Pembrokeshire to the west.
Cryddion sleeps 2 in 1 king size bedroom. All the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility.

There is a small pebble garden to the front with a sitting area, the stream runs to the side and below, which makes for a very pleasant and peaceful area to enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple. 1 parking space reserved in the chapel car park.
