“Another great stay. Jenny is excellent with communication and considering we had to amend the date three times due to Covid all of our dates were still accommodated. A fabulous cottage in a great location. Highly recommend it!”

“We stayed at Crannog Cottage for three nights. The cottage was very well equipped with everything that we would need for our short break. The cottage itself has been well looked after and maintained to a very high standard.
The owner has made sure that we would want for nothing during our stay even down to a thoughtful pint of milk in the fridge for our arrival.
We would absolutely come back to Crannog Cottage if the opportunity came up as we loved our time there.
Nothing was too much trouble for Jenny who was always there at the end of an email for any queries before or during our stay.”

“Another fantastic stay in a lovely cottage which has everything provided to make for a great break. The village and beach are a short walk away and Aberporth, Tresaith, Mwnt and Penbryn are easily reached by car as are New Quay and Aberaeron in the other direction along the main road. We can’t wait to book our next visit!”

“We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how well stocked and comfortable the cottage is, there was everything we needed. & in the sun when it comes, being out on the front decking for breakfast is idyllic. We would certainly come again, many thanks.”

“Thank you, a very well equipped cottage-everything had been thought of and was to a very high standard. The welcome pint of milk was very much appreciated. Also worth noting that we saw lots of Tesco deliveries, handy for the heavier basic groceries, but nice to keep your spending local with the fabulous eateries in the village.”

Feedback - Jul 2019

“Lovely cottage in pretty setting with parking. It had everything we needed, we especially enjoyed sitting out in the decking area,”

Feedback - Jun 2019

“The cottage is in a great location to access the coast, sandy beach and wonderful countryside. Excellent small supermarket a short ride away.
Pretty village. Two good pubs with cask ale and quality food within a few minutes walking distance. The cottage itself is comfortable, cosy but large enough for 4 adults. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water. The outside seating area was pleasant to take breakfast in the sun. Off road parking space is essential - but needs a little care on arrival, we arrived in the dark. I wouldn't hesitate to book the cottage again and would recommend it.”

Feedback - May 2019

“A lovely, clean, well equipped cottage within easy walking distance of the village. A bit more of a hike back due to it being uphill but it still took less than ten minutes. We really enjoyed our short break and are already looking forward to returning!”

“A long weekend at the start of Feb half term and I couldn't have chosen a better cottage. Cozy, well appointed, conveniently situated & well stocked. We really couldn't have asked for any more. When the booking agency asked for feedback and suggestions of how the owner could improve, I wracked my brains but came up with nothing! It really is a delightful place to stay!”

“We had a wonderful week at Crannog Cottage - it's a lovely property, nicely decorated and beautifully clean - not to mention very well-equipped (even down to body boards, inflatables and a BBQ in the shed). The walk from there to Pembryn beach along the coastal path is delightful - one of my highlights. Lots of nice beaches and places to explore nearby, I would highly recommend.”

“Crannog Cottage was perfect for our week in Llangrannog. It was really well equipped, in a great spot near the top of the village, had somewhere to eat outside (to the sound of a babbling brook) and a parking space! We were lucky to have fabulous weather and spent most of the time on the beautiful local beaches. Both the cottage and the area are to be recommended.
Thanks especially go to Jenny the owner, who was so efficient with communication and very flexible and accommodating when we changed our arrangements.
A great find!”

“What a great find. It was only 7 min walk from beach to door, and I’m no teenager. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay with plenty of pots, pans, tableware etc.all the mod cons were available. Never felt crowded with the wife and two teenage daughters, great WiFi too, It’s very, very quiet with an outside decking area which caught the sun all day ( great for drying wetsuits). Parking was good too which looks quite a coup in Llangrannog as the roads are very compact.”

Feedback - Apr 2018

“This is our 3rd visit to Crannog Cottage so need I say anymore?! The cottage is perfect in every way. A real home from home with everything in the cottage that you could need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Llangrannog it's self is a really lovely place to visit. The walks to Tresaith or Penbryn are amazing or a visit to nearby Newport or Newquay. I cannot recommend enough and we are booked in again for our 4th stay at Riverside, property next door for a long weekend early February.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Crannog Cottage in October. We have been visiting the area for many years but it was the first time staying in this cottage. It was very clean, warm, well equipped and very comfortable. We had no issues at all, everything worked well and it was nice to have a south-facing, private outside area.
All good and we would not hesitate to stay again.”

“Crannog Cottage was one of the best rentals I've been in. Very well situated by one of the less used roads in the village and facing a lovely stream. In some rentals it feels as though the owner has fitted it out with someone's cast offs but in Crannog Cottage the owner has provided nice quality simple furniture, plates and cutlery. It's always good to stay somewhere where the shower and toaster are better than your own!”

Feedback - Aug 2017

Feedback - Jul 2017

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Llangrannog despite some damp and windy weather. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was also in a very pretty setting with a stream running along at the end of the garden and not too far from the beach although it is at the top of a hill. There are two pubs and two cafes near the beach and it's very convenient for walking along the Ceredigion coastal path.”

Feedback - Jun 2017

“We really enjoyed our stay at Crannog Cottage. It was cosy, warm and everything we needed was provided. We easily negotiated the tight turn into the parking space, after initial trepidation! The owner went above and beyond when we foolishly left an important bag behind, phoning us immmediately and then sending it on quickly. Thank you for a lovely week.”

“Crannog Cottage was the perfect location for a quiet get-away to explore the West Coast Trail. From the comfy bed and lovely shower, to the fully equipped kitchen and inviting back deck, this cottage provided a lovely place from which to hike and kayak. Its situation in LLangrannog meant we were close to lovely restaurants, and had easy access to walking trails. We would definitely love to come back again.”

Feedback - Sep 2015

“I brought my daughter with her 2 yr-old for a "bucket and spade holiday". Just perfect for this - in fact, buckets and spade were already there for us to borrow! and the beaches at Llangrannog were beautiful. Jenny provided stairgates and bedguard which was very much appreciated. My grandson loved playing out on the decked area. This is a very well organised cottage with generous supplies of cutlery, crockery, good knives, utensils etc. In spite of being situated near the junction of two B-roads, the cottage was very peaceful when we were there in mid-September. My daughter would like to return next year if she can.”

The walks along the cliff paths were beautiful with stunning views. We went in October, not for the sun but for a quiet break with walking and pub lunches. Spot On

The cottage and location were superb and made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable and we would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit that area of Wales.”

Feedback - Jul 2014

“We had a wonderful stay, it is a lovely cottage in a lovely village. We were lucky and had amazing weather so sat out on the decking in the sun loungers. It was nice to have the small added touches for a self catering place, like salt, pepper, bin bags, kitchen paper, washing up liquid etc, all small items but when you are there for only 3 nights it makes it so easy - particularly as we had not brought anything!
Highly reccomend Crannog cottage and Llangrannog itself. Plus there are 2 pubs that do food in the village too.”

“What a great cottage. So relaxing to sit outside and only hear bridsong and the babbling of the stream. We highly recommend the bass fishing trip in New Quay, a lovely skipper and then back to a lovely cottage to cook and eat fresh sea bass - a barbeque outside would make the most of the space! - Thanks”
