Cosy Cottage is a charming one bedroom stone cottage with a front garden and enclosed back garden with shrubs and herbs. The cottage is pleasantly modernised throughout.
Only a few minutes’ walk from Cosy Cottage are shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and galleries and also the Marine Walk with views overlooking the ferry port (daily sailings to Ireland) and the Old Harbour with its pretty cottages (used as the film location for Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood). The town library houses a tapestry commemorating the Last Invasion of mainland Britain in 1797.
Community-owned Gwaun Theatre shows the latest films and occasionally locally produced plays and musicals. Fishguard has an annual Folk festival at the end of May bank holiday respectfully, International Music Fest in the last week of July and the Aberjazz festival over the August bank holiday.
Even without a car you can take a bus to nearby Newport, Cardigan, St Davids, Porthgain. If you are walking the Pembrokeshire Coast path nearby, a small bus will bring you back to Fishguard from your destination. A great base to enjoy the stunning scenery of Pembrokeshire. Cosy cottage is next to Wallis Cove.
