Ceridwen is a large house full of charm and character, on the site of the old smithy and stables at Pen-y-banc Farm. Sitting on the hillside overlooking a wooded valley, the house is set in 40 acres of green fields - plenty of room for children to run around and explore whilst adults can relax on the balcony or in the garden.

The surrounding area of the beautiful Teifi valley affords a rich and varied landscape, stretching out to the coastline in only 20 minutes' driving. We're in the centre of an area steeped in history, formerly the heart of the Welsh woollen industry. The area is littered with crumbling mills and old drovers' roads and there are several mapped walking routes from the door.

There is a bike skills park onsite; book in advance for training in BMX and mountain biking techniques while you are here. Another option is art classes; we have a resident artist and teacher who can offer art and crafts tuition for all ages and abilities. On-site reflexology treatments now available at Ceridwen from an experienced, qualified and insured therapist. Treatments need to be pre-booked with the owner.

Ceridwen offers self-catering accommodation but we can take the hassle out of cooking and provide freshly made dishes ready for you to just pop in the oven. We cook using only the best vegetarian ingredients, nearly all organic, to give you wholesome, delicious food.

We grow and sell our own organic produce and can provide you with a veg box, fresh eggs and local honey, during your stay. We can supply hampers which include a selection of excellent local produce.

The Ceridwen Centre was Highly Commended in CLA Best Rural Tourism Business Awards 2017.

Ceridwen sleeps up to 19 in 8 bedrooms - 1 single, 4 twin rooms, one double room and 2 four-person rooms (one with en suite) which can have either 4 single beds or 1 super king plus 2 singles in each as required. The house was designed for groups and is spacious and comfortable.

The two living areas give adults and children the chance to be together in groups or escape and find some individual space. There is also a fabulous hand-built wooden conservatory.

Natural light pours into the house through the five French doors and countless roof windows. The entrance living area is dominated by a beautiful wood-burning stove surrounded by large comfy sofas, plus a TV and DVD player.

The sloped ceilings of the upstairs living area make it open but cosy, with futons, cushions, a smart TV, DVD player and sound bar, books and games. There are five bathrooms and a separate lavatory. One bathroom contains a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The large kitchen includes a high quality range cooker with two ovens, dishwasher, two larder fridges and a freezer. There is plenty of preparation space with a middle island feature and separate table and chairs for the kids. The dining area on one side of the ground floor living room can sit a full house on long oak tables, where dinner and relaxing can blend seamlessly.

Idyllic views can be enjoyed from the balcony and the large garden stretching out onto fields and a side terraced area. There is plenty of garden furniture and a patio area with BBQ. The woodfired hot tub can be reserved for your own use by arrangement with the owners, but it is on a first come, first served basis.
