64 West Street, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire
Cottage full of character in Fishguard. Bustling Fishguard is full of history and seaside beauty as well as great places to eat out. A short drive away from famous St Davids. (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom)
Bwthyn Llechen (Slate Cottage) is a comfortable traditional cottage in Fishguard on the north coast of Pembrokeshire, with characterful wooden beams upstairs and down.
BustlingFishguard is two towns: the modern one is high above the cliffs and the older lower town is clustered around the quayside and was famously featured in the films Moby Dick and Under Milk Wood. The harbour is central and now a major ferry port with daily sailings to Rosslare in Eire. In 1797 the town was the site of the last invasion of mainland which is now commemorated by a famous tapestry – often compared to the one in Bayeux – on display at the Town Hall. All the facilities of this small town such as shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, galleries and a cinema / theatre are only a few minutes walk away.
The cathedral city of St Davids is a short drive away as are the coves and beaches of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the beautiful Gwaun Valley and the Preseli hills.
