Browse our selection of Teifi Valley cottages to choose your ideal location and facilities. No visit to West Wales would be complete without a sortie into this glorious river valley. The Teifi flows 75 miles from its source, the Teifi Pools (Llyn Teifi) near Tregaron in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, so there’s plenty of choice when it comes to holiday cottages in Teifi Valley.
The final stretch is in Ceredigion, where the river widens and meanders towards its mouth at Cardigan (Aberteifi). The Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran has a spectacular Visitor Centre with great food and gift shop and organises many interesting activities for families. There are walks and a playground.
You can do canoeing on the river or indulge in a spot of fishing for salmon, trout or grayling. See salmon jumping in the autumn at Cenarth or take a trip on the Teifi Valley Railway - both activities bound to appeal to dads and children.
