Blue Lodge is a spacious, sunny lodge, just a short walk from Clarach beach north of Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. Furnished throughout with quality furnishings and wall art in-keeping with the style and location of the Lodge and your own sauna in private gardens.
Guests can access the Clarach Bay holiday village’s facilities with its bars, funfair for children, and a range of food outlets. Clarach is excellent for walkers with access to the Ceredigion Coastal Path.
The Lodge is very well located for access to the coast and hills and just 2 miles from the harbour town of Aberystwyth, where you can take the Rheidol Steam Train to the famous Devil Bridge Falls.
Within a short, 10-minute drive, guests can visit the Blue Flag beach at Borth - the longest beach in Ceredigion with three miles of gently shelving golden sands where you can see dolphins and the famous submerged forest.
In addition to the amenities of Aberystwyth, Borth also provides close tourism amenities of bars, restaurants, sports activities, a zoo, a golf course and a boutique cinema.
Nature lovers can also visit the nearby Ynys Las sand dunes and the Dyfi Wildlife Centre, the home of the Dyfi Osprey Project at the Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve, where, in addition to ospreys, you can see hen harriers and peregrine falcons. Visitors can also spend time in the 360 Observatory, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Dyfi Valley, well worth a visit.
