One of our favourite places on the West Coast, Aberporth is a hugely popular village on the southern end of Cardigan Bay.
It has two fabulous beaches; Dolwen (to the south) is popular with families to enjoy building sandcastles and sunbathing and Dyffryn (to the north) is used for launching boats, kayaks and canoes and is dog-friendly.
Bottlenose dolphins are seen frequently close to shore.
Close to the beaches, there are seaside cafés, fish and chips, small shops and a friendly pub for good food and drink. There are also 2 car parks, public toilets and lifeguards in season.
There is a kilometre of coastal footpath between Aberporth and Tresaith which is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs/prams.
