We are so pleased to be celebrating our 16th birthday this week. We can’t believe
how much we’ve grown in all these years, from moving offices to taking on lots of
great team members and, of course, lots of beautiful cottages across West Wales.
We are still a family run business based on the beautiful Cardigan Bay Coast
established by father and son David and Matthew Witt in 2005. We have kept our
core values at the heart of our business throughout and are pleased to be still able to
help so many people visit West Wales.
Covering Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, the whole team are as
passionate about the area as we were from day one and love to discover new parts
of West Wales and share this with you. From restaurants, beaches, events and
attractions, we love finding hidden gems and letting you all know the best places to
visit to make the most of your holiday.
We only had 5 cottages on our website when we started, but we are pleased to have
grown that to over 770 beautiful and unique holiday homes and welcomed over
350,000 guests to West Wales since we began. Working closely with cottage owners,
we deliver the best service to visitors and cottage owners.
Proud to be Welsh!
It’s something we love to shout about, but we love everything about Wales, and we’re
so proud to be Welsh. From having a bilingual team to working closely with local
Welsh businesses and suppliers to supporting Welsh charities and events, we
couldn’t be prouder to be a Welsh business.
Working with the community
We make it a priority to work with the community and are proud to support many
local charities and events over the years. We donate to Cardigan Food Bank every
year, and we sponsor the Ceredigion Youth Bursary, which gives opportunities to
young people between the ages 11 and 25. We understand it can be difficult for
young people living in rural Wales to have the chance to make a difference and to
overcome barriers to pursue their aspirations for the future.
We also donate to Wales Air Ambulance as we believe the work the charity does is
incredible. Working with the community is something we will carry on for the next 16
years as it’s great to support the people who are so welcoming to our visitors and
make Wales a special place to visit.
Here’s to the next 16 years…
We’ve grown so much in the past 16 years, but there’s still plenty more for us to
achieve. We are launching our new website soon (so keep your eyes peeled!) and
taking on more properties, welcoming more visitors to our area while maintaining the
same core values that we always have.
