Beautiful Cenarth is known for its Falls – which is no surprise at all! It’s a special location. Sitting on the border where the three counties of West Wales meet, means it’s perfectly placed between coast and country. There are plenty of activities and attractions for you.
Where To Eat:
On the banks of the river in Newcastle Emlyn, Riverside Cafe serves an exciting menu specially catered for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. From breakfasts through to dinner, with an ever changing salad bar, smoothies, and a wide range of delicious home made cakes and desserts. Veganishmum is a pop-up restaurant and offers a chilled out vibe for your veggie or vegan dinner. The menu changes every time but is always full of mouth-watering goodness. Did we mention they make great cake, too?
If you prefer a more traditional environment, then the Daffodil Inn might be right up your street… enjoy a meal outside overlooking the unspoilt valley, or inside whilst you watch the chefs at work in the gallery kitchen. The menu changes with the seasons, meat and fish are fresh and sourced locally, and the coffee is freshly ground. Once you see these cakes and scones, we don’t think we need to say much more! Y Cwtch Coffi in Newcastle Emlyn is an ideal place for afternoon tea, lunch, coffee, cake, a bit more cake… whatever excuse you can find to get there, we think!
Things To Do:
See the coastline in a different light with activities such as canoeing, kayaking, gorge walking & coasteering! Adventure Beyond work across Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
If you’re coming to West Wales as part of a larger group, then we think Aspirations should be on your -‘to-do’ list… from the mud assault course through to archery and even sumo wrestling, these guys will definitely give you some holiday memories to last a while!
No trip to the area would be complete without a day out at the magnificent Cenarth Falls. Enjoy a walk along the banks, fish, or perhaps just stand and gaze at the natural beauty…
