Betsey Trotwood is a beautifully restored 1890s tram which was restored as a holiday home in the 1930s, possibly making it one of the earliest glamping holiday homes! It is one of a collection of two vintage wagons in a 4-acre farm meadow, just a short drive from New Quay (15 minutes) on Cardigan Bay.

Original features include cupboards and a dresser from those pre-war years. She has been sympathetically restored and now the 120-year-old tram provides an opportunity to enjoy a holiday with a difference.

The tram enjoys beautiful views over farmland and woods to the hills beyond. The design provides 2 outside, covered areas to sit and maybe eat and drink whilst enjoying the view.

Betsey Trotwood is just 3 miles from New Quay with its harbour, beaches and famous dolphins. A private lane offers a quiet route to New Quay either on foot (60 minutes) or bike. Alternatively, there is a woodland footpath nearby. The beautiful beaches at Llangrannog (20 minutes) and Mwnt (35 minutes) are within easy reach.

Come and enjoy a romantic, cosy holiday in this unique tram.
