Beaver’s Lodge has been totally refurbished and is one of seven farm cottages which share extensive grounds, including an orchard, which has a tree house, swings, barbeque area and picnic tables. One of the old barns is home to a games room with table tennis, rocking horse and table football.

Some of West Wales’ most beautiful wildlife can be spotted from the grounds, such as dolphins, seals and birds of prey. You may choose to take a closer look by exploring Ceredigion’s coastal path from the doorstep, making a real day of it with walks to many stunning spots up and down the coast.

You’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to eating out. Aberporth has over half a dozen eateries from cafés to Indian cuisine.

Walk off your meal with a walk along the beach. Choose from 2 Blue Flag sandy beaches: Dolwen beach, very popular in summer months or if your most trusted companion is in tow, dogs are welcome on Dyffryn beach all year!

Just a few minutes’ drive in any direction will take you to beautiful unspoilt beaches, headlands and little fishing villages. The area also provides a wide variety of exciting activities, such as dolphin watching boat trips, kayaking, surfing, horse riding, golf, fishing and quad biking.

In the ancient market town of Cardigan (15 minutes), the birthplace of The Eisteddfod, you will find independent shops, galleries, cafes, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, leisure centre, swimming pool and a theatre/cinema.
