“The cottage was comfortable, warm and well equipped for a self catering holiday. Brynhenllan is a lovely hamlet, tucked away from the main road of Dinas Cross but near enough to two pubs, a chip shop and food store. Quieter than Newport but with easy access to it. Fishguard and Goodwick also near by for more amenities and the coast.
The cottage has some sea views from upstairs windows which was an unexpected bonus.”

“I booked this cottage as a gift for my sons family as an anniversary present. We stayed nearby and visited them. The cottage is immaculate with a sun trap on the back which is wonderful. They said the beds were very comfortable. We were quite jealous! The village is very pretty and peaceful. My grandson loved watching the tractors amble by occasionally. Although it is in a quite location the nearby beach and coastline is beautiful and the old sailors is great to sit and admire the view. Also the shop at Dinas Cross nearby is very well stocked and the staff very helpful. I would highly recommend this cottage and the communication from the owner who was very helpful. I would.certainly stay there if we ever visit the area again.”

“We took two 16 year olds and two 14 year olds and the dog. What a fantastic holiday we had. Two weeks of amazing weather, sunny and warm. Kids surfed at Whitesands, while we went walking the coastal paths with the dog. We explored St David’s and the surrounding area, locally and up to Cardigan bay. Cottage was a perfect base, well equipped and clean. Nice pub on the doorstep and at Newport. Very comfy beds and a great garden for sitting outside. Our holiday went by way to fast, we didn’t want to go home.”

“I am reluctant to share with you how much we loved this cottage in case suddenly everyone books it and we never get to go back, because we'd love to return. The house was ideal for us. We were two adults, 4 older teens and 2 dogs. The cottage is extremely comfortable (I'd imagine it's lovely and cosy in the winter) very well appointed with all mod cons and high quality cookware etc. And for the teens there was good wifi, tv and plenty of space for us all! The location is perfect with beautiful walks all around you and fab beaches. There is ample parking at the front/side of the house for at least 2 cars. We used the local pubs, shops, fish and chip shop and found everyone to be very friendly and welcoming. 'Beachway' is at the very top of our list for our next UK holiday.”

“Beachway is a real home from home with comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room and a very well equipped kitchen including an American style fridge freezer with ice maker! It was lovely to be able to walk to the beach and the Old Sailors restaurant which serves delicious meals but the walk back took longer than 5 mins up the steep lane! Overall we had a great holiday in a fabulous location and enjoyed exploring Pembrokeshire.”

““we had a wonderful time at Beachway for Easter. The house is superb, spotlessly clean and warm with modern heating and hot water. The kitchen is superb with everything a family of 6 of us needed. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets if required. The House is in a lovely quiet village, the beach is a quick walk and perfect for kids and adults, with the pub nearby ! Also recommend the Ship Aground Pub in DInas Cross 5 mins walk from the house. A very warm welcome from the landlord and locals and good ale and food"”

“My grown up family of five have just stayed here (early July) and our first reaction was WOW! The house didn’t disappoint later. It was spotless on arrival and the walk to the beach really is a five minute walk. We had everything we wanted or needed. It was all very well thought out. In the intense heat we have had, the house stayed cool, our surroundings were quiet.
We hope to return in the not too distant future, we had such a lovely time. Thank you for letting us stay.”

“3 lovely large bedrooms which was a treat for the grandchildren who can often find themselves in a very small room. Cosy house. 'Mace' an excellent local shop. Two lovely beaches within walking distance. Good area to use as a base to visit the beautiful area of West Wales.”

Feedback - May 2017

“Lovely cottage in a good location. The patio and garden were perfect for our dog and for a BBQ at the end of a sunny day. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything easy to use.
The two local pub/restaurants were not dog friendly sadly. However in good weather sitting outside the Old Sailor was lovely. The Golden Lion in Newport is dog friendly and serves good food.
We had a lovely time.”
