“This is a small but comfortable and well equipped cottage set in a superb location with great views above Little Haven. A nearby footpath leads down through a beautiful wood to the picturesque village below, with its huge sandy beach (at low tide) and stunning coastal path. The garden and conservatory are well positioned to catch the evening sun and watch it set over the opposite hill. Wonderful!”

“Fabulous location, for a couple and 2 kids ( 13 and 15) property is ample in size, not lacking any content, tv wi fi bathroom conservatory and the most comfy bed I've ever slept in were major pluses, kitchen was more than suitable. Very peaceful and , as advertised, a short , pleasant, woodland walk and 10 mins later your in little haven and on the coastal path. If the property is available when I'm next down I'd happily stay here again.”

“Nice Cottage, Little Haven only a short walk away. Fantastic location and lovely views.”

Feedback - Oct 2021

“A very enjoyable stay. Beautiful view from the comfortable chairs in the conservatory. The cottage has everything necessary to compliment a restful holiday. Would definitely return here.
The footpath to the village was very useful with a dog, a little steep in parts however this was outlined in the information book at the cottage.
Little Haven is very pretty with two pubs currently open, unfortunately St Brides Bay does not allow dogs in, but on a sunny evening there’s plenty of room to sit outside with a sundowner. The Castle welcoming with good food.”

“Small cottage, but with the amazing weather great for our family of 4 plus small dog. Super location with short walk to nearest beach and easy access to other places in Pembrokeshire. We had a lovely holiday - thank you.”

“Nice little cottage in a quiet area. Good location for exploring the area.”

“A small, comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a fantastic location. You can see the sea from the patio area and watch the sun go down across the valley. A beautiful woodland walk takes you down to the beach. At low tide the sandy beach includes a bigger neighbouring cove. The village is warm and welcoming, with an inn serving good food and a great ice cream shop. We hope to return.”

Feedback - May 2021

“An excellent location. We enjoyed being able to walk down into the village easily.”

Feedback - May 2021

“We enjoyed our stay at Bay Cottage. Small but cosy, I spent most of my time in the conservatory which over looked the valley and woods. You could just about see the sea and sunsets. Would definitely return and recommend. Little Haven is a short walk away through the woods or down a lane way. A very quiet chill out holiday with lots of coastal path walking.”

“This cottage was perfect for the five of us, two adults, two children and our dog. It was so quiet and the view from the cottage is beautiful. We enjoyed the short walk through the woodland to the beach at Little Haven and the footpath was easy to find right outside. We had such a lovely weekend.”

Feedback - Apr 2021

“A very comfortable, cosy cottage in a good location for walking the coastal path. The woodland walk down to Little Haven was ideal, our dog loved it.
It's also a nice location for visiting St. David's and Tenby.
We enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend.”

“A lovely, snug barn conversion with excellent heating and all other mod cons. Very comfortable and we loved the sea view from the sun lounge. The cottage is wonderfully placed for walking the nearby stretch of the Coastal path, as well as catching the Puffin shuttle bus 400 from Little Haven village for more distance stretches of the path. Very nice pubs in the village too!”

Feedback - Sep 2020

“The cottage is lovely, it's well equipped and nicely decorated and was spotless when we arrived. It's a short 10 minute walk through the woodlands to get to the beach or a slightly longer walk along the road which is more accessible. The conservatory has a lovely view with the ocean visible in the distance. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area!”

“If it’s peace and quiet you’re after this is the place for you and you have good mobility, it is perfect for 2”

Feedback - Mar 2020

“We loved the position of the cottage, the view from the sun room was great - a lovely room to sit and have morning coffee or breakfast. Also the walk through the woods to the village was lovely, great for families with youngsters and/or dogs as it completely avoids the road. Great spot as a base for visiting that area of coastline.”

Feedback - Feb 2020

“Cosy cottage. Could have done with one or two more kitchen implements - whisk, kitchen scissors, tongs. Otherwise clean and comfortable. Liked the conservatory and a lovely view. Our Australian visitors loved it!
Veri impressed that owners checked that we understood that there was limited headroom in the crog loft. This wasn't a problem but did require a degree of flexibility.
Thank you.”

Feedback - Sep 2019

“Very well equipped with pretty much everything you could need in a compact space. All the equipment worked well. Great views to sit and watch either indoors or out with loads of seating. Plenty of throws for cool nights sitting out - equally good for warm nights instead of a duvet!”

Feedback - Jul 2019

“The path which runs directly from the property down through the woods to Little Haven and the Coastal Footpath is a huge bonus: we didn't use the car at all during our three-night stay. We wouldn't call the sea views stunning exactly, but the sun room is a delight and a great place to spend the evening watching the sunset.”

Feedback - Jun 2019

“Fantastic location and a lovely cottage, the only thing I would say to be aware of when booking is that part of the wall is very low on the outside area so if you have a young bouncy dog then they will jump straight out! You can shut them in the grassed area which is gated off but the fence isn't that high for a bigger dog.”

Feedback - Jun 2019

“We really enjoyed our stay in Bay Cottage and in Little Haven despite getting unlucky with the weather in June. The Cottage is welcoming and cosy. The conservatory with its lovely light and great views adds another dimension, particularly when the weather is bad. The courtyard garden with BBQ would be great when the sun shines.
My hubby and I really enjoyed the walk with our dog through the woods to the harbour side pubs each evening. However this definitely wouldn't be an option if your mobility isn't good. It did get a bit slippy after some rain. Also I wouldn't like to try it after dark. But in daytime light it's really pleasant.
Little Havenis really lovely. A great beach, particularly at low tide. Broad Haven is only minutes away and has a really useful supermarket. Lots of interesting places up and down the coast for days out. Thought St. David's and Tenby particularly attractive. Our dog thought the beaches were all great but particularly seemed to enjoy Broad Haven and South Tenby. The pubs in general all seem to be dog friendly.”

“We loved our Stay at Bay Cottage. The location was perfect with a 10 min walk through the lovely wooded area to the bay. It was a very peaceful and relaxing break for us.
The price was very reasonable and we would definitely come back and stay there again.
Perfect location with access to the west and south coast of Wales where we did some beautiful coastal walks.
We had a little leak with a pipe, but the owner dealt with it very quickly and the caretaker who looks after the property came round the following day to sort it. He was very nice and engaging. Definitely recommend this beautiful and cosy little cottage.”

Feedback - Mar 2019

“We had a really great stay here, the cottage is in a quiet courtyard with some other cottages and was very cosy with all the necessary amenities, the kids loved the attic room and we loved sitting and looking at views from the conservatory , location was excellent a nice 10 minute woodland walk to the the town of Little Haven/Beach or 10 minutes on the country road (we used this at night ). The owner was excellent in his prompt replies in communicating, a very welcome break.”

“It was very quiet (which we like), a lovely cottage, very well furnished, a good bed. We loved the sun lounge. A 10 minutes-walk to Little Haven. lf we should ever come back to little haven, we would certainly come back to this cottage.”

“Cottage was very sweet. Just what we needed. Views were absolutely stunning and great suntrap for drinks in the evening. Lovely forest walk to the village of little haven. Beautiful place.”

“Beautifully well maintained cottage in a very secluded private area quiet and relaxing. Stunning view from conservatory and loft bedroom.
Cottage would be difficult to access for those with limited mobility but excellent for those who enjoy walking.
Cottage was comfortable and well stocked with lots of added extras. The citronella tea lights proved very useful as did the binoculars !
Perfect for those who want a quiet break and accessible by car to explore the Pembrokeshire coast.
Lovely enclosed sun trap of a garden area which was safe for dogs to play.We were fortunate to benefit from the use of the bbq and outdoor sitting area during our stay, whilst watching the beautiful sunset overlooking st brides bay.
Thank you for a few days of relaxation and recharging the batteries!!”

“A spur of the moment booking for my 89 year old Father and I , it was perfect for us and his little dog having a very handy enclosed garden.
All was as described, my Father in downstairs bedroom and I in the upstairs via ladder sleeping space perfectly suited for children and agile adults, but watch your head on the beams above the bed added to the novelty and fun.
Loved the sun room/conservatory and peaceful view, my Father has not stopped talking about how much he enjoyed his stay and would love to go back again.
The communication with owner was excellent, helpful and friendly.
I can not fault.
Thank you Maureen Jones”

“Bay Cottage proved to be a perfect base for the dog and myself, a quiet spot with a lovely walk through the flower- and birdsong-filled wood to Little Haven. There is easy walking on the Coast Path and plenty of inland footpaths to explore. The bed and chairs in the conservatory are wonderfully comfortable! Holidaying in mid-summer I had the benefit of plenty of sun in the garden and conservatory but I doubt that would be the case when the days are shorter.”

Feedback - May 2018

“Lovely week at Bay Cottage very suitable for our two medium to small dogs, small enclosed grass area to the side of the property the back was not secure but once in the side gate they were fine to have a sniff around and go to the toilet. Nice accommodation, very clean, wi fi was unpredictable at first but it seemed to get better the longer we were there, quiet and pleasant area. Short drive to beaches , we enjoyed our stay, the bed was very comfortable and they had a really powerful shower i would have liked to have taken home. All in all we were very happy with our week.”

Feedback - Apr 2018

“This is a lovely little cottage, in a nice location. The conservatory, with its very comfortable chairs and view over the sea and countryside is a particularly nice feature. The lounge is cosy and comfortable and the kitchen is nicely equipped and laid out. The upstairs bedroom would be a challenge in access and headroom terms for taller or less agile people, but our teenagers loved it. The courtyard layout gave the illusion that there are fewer properties than are actually on the site and it was very peaceful. The wooded walk to the beach was a real bonus.”

Feedback - Feb 2018

“Lovely cottage and very well equipped for everything we required. Loved the sun room with reading chairs, really relaxing. Upstairs only suitable for very short people!”

Feedback - Sep 2017

“Perfect location!!! We stayed with our dog and she loved the walk down to Little Haven through the woods. It's a small but cosy cottage - all you need if you're planning on being out enjoying beautiful Pembrokeshire during the day. The bed is super comfy and the shower is great! The garden fence was good if you have a small dog but ours has springs on her paws so sadly she couldn't be left unattended. Even so, I'd definitely recommend staying here.”

Feedback - Sep 2017

“The cottage is lovely. Spotlessly clean with everything in it you need. Would recommend it to anyone. Had a lovely stay. Can't wait to re book.”

Feedback - Jul 2017

“We stayed at Bay Cottage in July 2017 and found it to be clean with good amenities. A short walk downhill through some woodland gets you into Little Haven itself, so good for a stroll to one of the pubs in the village. We would recommend!”

Feedback - Jul 2017

“Absolutely lovely cottage with views to match. Tucked out of the way yet a small woodland walk to nearby Little Haven. Highly recommend.”

Feedback - Jun 2017

“What a fantastic few days at Bay Cottage we had. It was lovely and clean and had all that anyone could need in the cottage. A 10 minute walk to Little Haven beach through the woodland area. Great for dog walks in and around the surrounding areas. Beautiful views along the coast lines. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday. Thank you so much.”

“Good value for money, lovely position. Really nice (and pretty short) walk down to the village. We tried all 3 pubs in Little Haven and liked them all, also Galleon in Broad Haven isn't too far to walk and did great pub food. We had a lovely dog-walking, pub food, seaside break.”

Feedback - Apr 2017

“Lovely location with easy access to the town, beach and coastal path. Thanks very much for the help with the heating; it was probably 'finger-trouble' on our part, but your response was prompt and non-patronising!”

Feedback - Mar 2017

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was small, as advertised, but cosy and the view from the sun room a real bonus. Comfortable furniture and a well-fitted kitchen.
Best of all was the complete silence, and the delightful walk to Little Haven through the woods, especially by torch light after an excellent dinner at The Swan.
We would definitely recommend the cottage.”

“Fabulous site. The footpath was easy to follow and useful. Lovely conservatory, quiet with easy access to loads of amazing beaches and walks.”

Feedback - Aug 2016

“Loved the stay in this cottage! Wonderfull surroundings, friendly neighbours, nice little village in walking distance (10 Minutes, a little steep, but ok even if you're not a sportman!) with great pubs. The cottage is not too big, we would recommend it for up to four guests (the loft is great for children!) and a dog. You can easily find it by following the advices the owner gives you in his e-mail, because it's a bit hidden (what we really enjoyed as it's more 'typical' and not 'tourist'!) Thanks, we'd love to return! :-) Barbara and family”

Feedback - Aug 2016

“The cottage was well set out generally clean and the furniture was comfortable. There was the added benefit of sky TV and WiFi.

it is very quite, the walk to the beach is nice through woodland however you need to be a little fit to walk back”

“The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and just right for a relaxing break. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and used the information file to its fullest. Directions to the cottage were exact and easy to follow and helped after a long journey. Overall, a great experience from booking to leaving. Thanks.”

Feedback - May 2016

“Everything was perfect in this cottage especially the sea view. Nothing to complain about the cottage iwas as advertised. Well equipped, clean & very cosy. We had two greyhounds but we all managed to fit in.
Garden was enclosed as in advert but would have been excellent if we could have left the back door open & the dogs could have gone in the garden. As it was there was a low wall which they could have jumped & been in the lane. This was only about a six foot gap to the garden gate so not much more fencing required. Then everything would have been perfect & we would return again.”

Feedback - Apr 2016

“The cottage is in a lovely area and we enjoyed sitting in the sunroom and looking out to sea.”

Feedback - Aug 2015

“Great stay at Bay Cottage. Great location!! 10 mins down the woodland path to Little Haven or 15 mins down the road if you're disabled or can't manage the woodland path. Another 10-15 mins walk over to Broad Haven. Great beaches for our dogs. The tides change quickly and come in quite far in Little Haven but the tide doesn't come in as far in Broad Haven so there's plenty of room to sit/play/swim on the beach and in the sea. Great convenience store in Broad Haven too. Has everything you could need at short notice. Three lovely pubs in Little Haven; The Swan: our favourite (accepts dogs in the bar) and The Castle: a close second with lovely lunchtime food (accepts dogs, burger and fresh caught fish delicious). Cottage is small but nicely laid out. The loungers in the conservatory were very comfortable and we may even have had a little nap on them some afternoons! All in all a lovely holiday cottage in a great location. Thanks.”

We have stayed in pembrokeshire several times before, but we would definetely come back to Bay cottage. “The cottage was ideal for a family of four including 2 children; our kids specifically loved to sleep up in their croft loft beds. Not only does the cottage have a pleasant sea view from its hilltop position, it offers a good degree of privacy and has all of the necessary equipment to facilitate a short break home away from home. My wife and I recommend this cottage and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful corner of Wales.”
