Open your door to 2 sandy beaches, just across the road. Village amenities are also close by to include pubs, restaurants and a shop.
Kick back and relax on the beach for the day, paddle in the sea or explore the rock pools at low tide.
There is access to the coastal path from the village, where you can explore the coast north to Tresaith and Penbryn or head south to the National Trust beach of Mwnt and beyond.
Further afield, you may wish to take a boat trip to New Quay (30 minutes) to spot some of the best wildlife on offer, bottlenose dolphins. Cardigan (15 minutes) offers the opportunity to explore the renovated castle, famous for being the birthplace of the Eisteddfod, a national festival dating back to 1176.
